1. Van Persie
2. Rooney
3. Eto'o
Is this a joke?
Because if it is, its about as funny as the time i managed to elbow my self on balls while putting on a pair of socks
1) Ibrahimovic - average in the CL
2) Van Persie -
3) Eto'o - bit past it nowdays, maybe a few years back
as out-and-out strikers (so no ronaldo or messi types) i'd go:
1) villa
2) drogba
3) ???
Drogba? On his 09/10 form I'd agree but he wasn't his usual self last season. He got 13 goals in 46 games last season as opposed to 37 in 44 the season before.
And Eto'o is still a top striker. Last season he scored 37 goals in 53 games for a struggling Inter.
It's really hard to do a top 3, as any of these strikers could be in it based on the last year: Villa, Van Persie(although he's a little injury prone), Tevez, Eto'o, Cavani, Aguero, maybe even Hulk or Falcao, although they play in a weaker league.
I'd also include Rooney, because when he's on one of his streaks of form he's unplayable.
I dont know about Villa, every time i have watched him he misses loads of chances that even i could finish (except in the CL final and in the el classico 5-0) i know he is a good player but when i watch him he just doesnt look it.
And it looks like iam on my own with Ibrahimovic :/

Ibrahimovic
i'd take Bent over him any day. more seriously tho falcoe is better then him to. so overated
agreed ibra is very over rated..
I've never been an Ibrahimovic fan. He always disappears when his team need him most, and is pretty much useless in the Champions League. Easily one of the most overrated players even though he's never even hit 30 goals a season in his whole career.
I would say:
Villa
Drogba
Rooney
but as much as i hate to say it, torres if he gets his form back will be in there
Antonio Di Natale
Diego Forlan
David Villa
Torres all day
Villa
Tevez
You're all wrong.
On current form, not reputation (09-10 season)
1. Cavani
2. Falcao
3. Van Persie
honourable mention for Barrios, Tevez, Llorente.
ON CURRENT FORM AND/OR 10-11 SEASON.
I am confused, on what basis is Robin van Persie considered one of the best three strikers in the world. he is nowhere near that - he is a good striker, but not great at all. I always find him overhyped, along with Ibrahimovich
If you are thinking of current form where is Chicharito? 20 goals in his debut season at United and scored 10 goals in 9 games for Mexico so far this year......not bad stats
Van Persie is one of the best in the world. When fit (i.e. last 6 months) he scores plenty of goals.
I just think that Di Natale is the best in the world at the moment based on scoring 57 league goals in the last 2 seasons despite being more of a trequartista than a out and out striker.
He also did it at a less glamourous team, although he did drag Udinese into the Champions League.
Cavani and Falcao are also really good shouts.
