I Think It's Great.....

I'm not worried, just love that big cushion he has...takes the pressure off and that's very important.
Whose thread is this btw, any ideas ?

Duggie was never rude and the person who is trying to impersonate this elderly gentle man in order to gain our confidence, should be thoroughly ashamed of himself.
-----------
Did I ask you to give me your confidence? I do not need it.

though I had a few altercations with Duggie on old 606.
--------
The moniker of 'score reader' sticks in my craw.

Timeplease...

"I don't for a moment believe that Duggie3 is the same poster as the much missed Duggietoo - his syntax is completely wrong and the latter was of an older vintage.

Very strange to pretend to be someone else, especially someone who may, sadly, not be up to posting any longer!"

----
Pray educate on the 'older' vintage syntax, if you will. I am not trying to be rude.

Why is my identity in real life important? I am poster who is interested in Tennis. Is that not sufficient? Do I need a JA606 baptism or is there a secret handshake or rite of passage?

Actually he does "sound" like the real duggie. ...Using the same smileys if not the same syntax!

So who are your fav players Duggie?

Version of PointSpy which is pretty handy.

Ab Initio investigation - very good Tenez. I can the see the tumblers twirling in that noggin of yours.

Laver and Federer, in that order.

Do you want me to repeat our qualifications argument, my study habits, other sports, etc. ?

... oh and how I read scores...

Tenez,

I would suggest an easier route. Become a moderator at JA606, and then you can investigate with aplomb.

You know that many were looking for you. I thought you were a founder at MTL and people there wondered where you were.

Why have you not followed them all at v2?

posted on 21/4/12

I visit MTL, and as stated, revisit it, I shall.

How do you know I am not on v2?

If you need confirmation, send a PM to Gav.

I am a good reader, a really good 'score' reader.

Ciao.

As mentioned earlier, good to see you again duggie...I had wondered where you had gone and had asked after you a few times...

People worship going on here...scary !

posted on 22/4/12

"people worship" ==> "Nole is the best"

Duggie and I used to share views alot on the old 606 and he had disappeared after it went down. I'm just glad he's around and still posting, etc, the links are nothing more than an expression that I had been asking after him. Trust you to twist it into something cynical and negative...

I cannot post a lot, today has been an exception.

I am glad to have shared time with you Lydian.

So also with you Nole and Tenez, Time Please no matter whatever our differences be (and many others).

See you around, and I will be reading as time and health permits.

If I do not come back here, C'est La Vie!

But again so great to have you here. We hardly read from you on v2 so was surprised to read that you were reading us.

Thanks Tenez.
I mostly appear when there is trouble, mischief and injustice.

mmmm still not convinced by this Duggie - the one I knew was a regular poster and wouldn't have hidden behind a number choosing to reveal himself at the last moment. The effort of pretence is clearly fairly exhausting because he is warning that he won't be around that much.

I am guessing he may have forgotten what he used to teach in the real world, and where?

So annoying not to have PM on this occasion. My understanding TP is that Duggie was already gravely ill so that is certainly in line with his last comment.

And a few more comments about the past were pretty accurate. Certainly someone who followed our "arguments".

Meatballs - There certainly was injustice on that occasion. I cannot believe how a tennis discussion, in particular on one player, can drive so much tension and madness.

No other player's fans woudl have reacted so extremely. Imagine what would have happened with the likes of SA, Wyse, JoE, Dr SIncere, etc....We never complained, if anything we enjoyed.

I guess the difference is that for one player critics could only be teasing, comical, for the other they were simply too true!

posted on 22/4/12

I'd be very happy to be wrong Tenez - we all missed Duggie. As I said on another thread, if he could remember what he used to teach and where, I might be less sceptical - but then again that is probably common knowledge.

Who are you betting on today?

Djoko....should be quite straightforward.

I was surprised to read that Simon created 7BPs got none converted. Nadal 5, converted 2.

Djoko knows how to play those BPs.

posted on 22/4/12

Simon was really gallant and undaunted by Rafa at first - it was quite something to watch. He probably should have been more patient on the break points, but Nadal did step up to dismiss them.

How great to see GP, droogle, BB, Summerblues making it over here to chat as well (apologies if I have forgotten anyone)

posted on 22/4/12

But I don't think you are the real Duggie either. Not that I know who the real Duggie is, btw

Poeple stalking, impersonating others, petitioning for banning those they disagree with...amazing what 7:0 can do to a fan

Ah this is the new refuge.

Nice to see posters have found a new home. Excellent.
