just take your medicine. everyone gets a spoonful over a season, we had loads with spurs for half a season.
We can about it now, but at the time it was terrible.....
Why should I humour you boy?

I would rather 2 trophies (you won't beat chelsea) than none yes. But I would rather be in a more stable position, where we can still attract big names because of CL footy. No way would Podolski etc. move to a team that finishes 8th.

They might, they might not. Stranger things have happened, the name of Liverpool FC still carries some weight and if they knew their role was to be first time and to get us into Europe, then why not. And look at what Newcastle have managed, they've arguable signed players better than most in the league and they finished last season mid table, it has to be said though that their signings have been unbelievable finds.

Says the troll who is sat on his PC on a day when his team isn't even playing, with the sole aim of wumming and getting a bite.
I'm here because LIverpool have just played and I'm discussing the game with fellow LIverpool fans.
What's your excuse? Is your life that dull?

That argument would work if players like Nasri, Clichy, Adebayor and Toure hadn't left you recently. Stability and CL football alone doesn't keep your best players. You had CL to offer them but they wanted more - i.e. to win things.
yeah, arsenal must be playing for me to use my laptop or comment on here.....
if you must know i also have 3 other tabs open with grumble on them.... just before i blow i return here so Liverpool fans bitterness will help keep the wolf from the door

Thanks for just proving how sad and pathetic your life is. Sunday afternoon sat watching "grumble" and trolling on football forums.

So a carling cup win would have kept them?

No but a culture of winning would have. CL football on its own didn't.
We have our own issues but we as fans realise them. Liverpool fans do not and this is why this debate is going on. Your point is invalid.
