Can't agree with the Torres situation but he will be leading the team for at least two years whether you like it or not.

Torres will get his chance when Drogba is off to ACON. Maybe even sooner.

I really doubt Torres will get near any form that remotely represents him at his best. I know he hasn't played brilliantly, but if he is going to recapture his best, he needs a run of games, And with Drogba playing the way he is (and I expect him to play vs City), I doubt he'll get that.
I don't want Chelsea FC to go back to a rigid dull style, I thought the point of AVB was transition not same old. So even though I am happy about the win yesterday and the solidity at the back, (and expect a similarly defence-minderd display vs City), I hope he is more expansive in the future.

AVB: "Frank has been fantastic in his performances but our choice fell to those three midfielders because of their technical ability to keep possession, keep the ball down and play out from the back.
"It is not that Frank can't do it but today (Tuesday) that was our choice.
"He is fantastic in the way he has taken these tough decisions and Frank will continue to threaten for starting selection again.
"He is one of the greatest players in the world and for sure on Monday he will be in contention to come back."
Yeah he will be starting against City
Benayoun will be sold at the end of the season as well, can't see him having a future at Chelsea.
Is he still ours...?
I thought we'd sold him....(see i'm up with play then...
Re Torres
How long before Roman 'insists' he plays....
Roman won't insist he plays. He didn't think twice about pumping Sheva out on loan and eventually on a free transfer despite the massive outlay and those 2 were personal friends. Roman doesn't care about Torres.
Great result yesterday, bring on City
Benayoun loaned out for the season Sheriff
Mind you...I didn't know we'd bought Meireles until two weeks later
I was on Holiday I think, & he appeared outta nowhere late doors..
