Zidane could definitely be another target (although isn't he taking a year out? still means he'd be available next summer). He's another one I kind of wanted last summer although never linked with anyone from what I can remember

Zola reports that Morata will not play tomorrow having twisted his knee against MOL Vidi. He adds that Hazard has a knock and will be assessed today.

Zola on Loftus-Cheek :

Loftus-Cheek has gone a long way from the beginning. He has improved a lot. You can’t doubt his abilities, to play as a midfielder he is learning duties. I am very pleased with him.

He is an impact player, he was suffering when he didn’t play and being recognised is good for him.

He says he's shown more "application" since the start of the season & has come a long way.

Zola dismisses the idea that Sarri has to win a trophy this season: "We certainly want to achieve something but the aim is to become one of the best teams in the country & in Europe"

Zola on Chelsea’s apparent interest in Callum Wilson - “He is a great player, I’m sure that he is of interest to not only us, but to many”.

Zola:

He is strong, fast and he sees the goal. I like because he is quick and strong in the air. I don’t want to go too much into him. He is doing very well and I am pleased for him.

Zola admits that sometimes the team plays in the Sarri style and sometimes not so close, but that this is part of the normal learning process. He adds that Sarri is very serious about his work.

I’d go with:

Ruben, Giroud, Willian

Caballero, Luiz, Zappa, Jorginho, Pedro, Cho, Hazard

Looks like we’ll go after Wilson in January. Gonna cost around £40m.

Where are we going to offload morata to

Bournemouth will hang on to Wilson for the season. No sense to sell mid-season, when they are not safe from relegation and are on a dire run.

Why did Zola speak so openly about Wilson? Like we already got some agreement in place.
