Feel even his initial form is overplayed. He scored a lot with his head, but missed a lot of chances too. But his conversion was just higher. I don’t think we’ve had a player miss so many sitters. With a prime hazard creating multiple chances it is so worrying
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I disagree, even Drogba would have been proud of the way he bullied Atletico and United (two best back line's in Europe at the time), he had a good start and in those two games he was sensational in my opinion. At that point it looked like we had a real player.
Problem is he is so mentally fragile we will never see that Alvaro in anything other than sporadic periods, he was pretty good for a month in October this year also but that miss to lose out on the hat trick vs Palace put him straight back to square one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He never bullied those teams imo. Don’t remember him standing out in those performances. Will have to rewatch

Paredes and Higuain to be confirmed today?
They'll ask Sarri about the Higuain transfer today and he'll probably say I know nothing!
Can't believe Marks and Spencer are shutting our town branch...
Where the hell am I to get my sensible shoes and Alan Partridge type sports blazers from now...

He didn't bully them I think physical contact. He did bully them in terms of his off the ball running. And then... Nothing since.
20 mins left to sign Higuain so he can play vs Arsenal!!!
As in thank the stars he's going
