Ajax had 6 corners, only 1 of them managed to cause a problem.

Yeah but the only corner they sent into our box directly ended up hitting the post. The other corners before that were played short.

I'm fine with the way we've been defending corners & set-pieces in general in past 4 matches.
I don't look for perfection, which is unrealistic.

Zouma improving mean we may not need to do this but I'd rather resign Ake than go elsewhere for CBs

I'm fairly happy with our set of CBs at the moment, especially considering Rudiger has barely played.

If we were going to go out and buy another for me it would have to be a Van Dijk level signing and as much as I like Ake I don't think he's that good.

When Bats only needs to be in position and to put away crosses or passes from close range he's very useful. Outside of that he probably has a negative impact on games where we need to build up play. We don't seem to be doing that all that much these days. Very direct from us. Although today was SO UGLY.
