Getting outplayed by Liverpool kids.
Just don't know how to lose
Hey remember when we just won in a very boring way?
We’re trying our best to drop out of the cup and they still couldn’t beat our kids (yet)
Frank said 'Christian Pulisic got injured yesterday in training'.
Both him & Gilmour would have started, had it not been for illness and injury.
Frank on Callum:
"It was a good performance. Pleased to see him high up the pitch, it was a great goal. It has been an interesting 12 months for him. He has come back, but when he did there were issues to get him tip top. This was a nice step forward for him.
When Callum comes back and when you are a player of speed and sharpness, when you have an injury like that it can be slightly held back. He has done a lot of work. He is getting stronger. As a player there is a lot more to come."
"Frank explains that Hudson-Odoi has been working in the gym to get his acceleration back after his Achilles injury."
👌
Frank on the win:
"I’m pleased. These games are never easy. Pleased with the first half, not so much with the second. I wanted us to kick on. It’s the levels we want to sustain."
Bats and Barkley made the match painfully more difficult than it should have been.
"Callum Hudson-Odoi has been directly involved in 11 goals in his 13 starts at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring five and assisting six."
Take no notice of the brain-dead, Cal (especially the ones on social media and here)
Frank on Girooo:
"There is no update in Oli. I have spoken with him. If it’s something he wants to do, it’s good for me and the club then we’ll see. But it has to be all three."
Girooo leaving is a foregone conclusion.
FA Cup lost its sparkle?
Frank: "No I don’t. I understand that some managers might see it that way."
Pedro and Barkley:
"I think they did okay. All their applications were good. There were things that could have been better. Now we have a month in January that is important. I want competition."
Got to disagree Frank.
Barkley was atrocious, every potential attack broke down with him on the ball. Excruciating to watch.
Drinkwater straight back on loan?
Frank: "We’ll see. It’s a possibility"
There's no way he's staying.

And take no notice of Frank when he doesn't pick you for PL games <PL>
There we go. Didn't take long.

AC can just about cope with Championship oppo.

Moment of the match was Reece James managing to wriggle away from three men.
Made it look ridiculously easy.
To them all out of the game, no problem.

OK 2.
Quality needed to play/build out from the back, under pressure.
