Noticed we are improving, Atleast leadership wise, now rudiger is back. We are getting less roughed up. Still struggling at set pieces tho

Guehi has gone to Swansea on loan, Superb.

Yeah was thinking for next season Brum. Think Guehi's loan is only until the end of the season.

Brum???? What is going on ?

Ake is so much better than this Bournemouth side he's in. Admittedly he didn't look great today at all but he's just come back from injury, playing in less familiar LB role and this Bournemouth side look completely devoid of confidence and certain to go down.

Ake will still be in the PL playing for a decent club next season if not for us and he'll continue to prove that he's a very classy player.

“DeBruyne and Salah has given me a bit of a complex about these kind of situations.”

Think a lot of us will be forever scarred by this

Lol tbf it’s not an unfounded complex. 2 of the best 10 players in league coming back to bite us in the ass, add the fact we didn’t sign shirts when we had the chance and it certainly brings in doubt!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Shirts?

Aside from that I agree with you. It's just as likely that Bournemouth go down and Ake goes to West Ham and doesn't turn up any trees there - with most people deciding that's his level: as a mid-table PL defender.

But he has the potential to be a lot more, and I really would hate to see him being the rock of a reinvigorated Arsenal or Tottenham side

God knows how aguero changed to shirts lol...it also tried changing it to atherosclerotic

The fact Mourinho prioritised Willian and Oscar over DeBruyne and Salah is probably his biggest error as a manager ever.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The KDB one in particular is inexplicable. It was obvious the guy was going to be brilliant. Whilst I didn't want us to sell Salah either, it was less obvious to me how good he would become.

This

Why people constantly try to beat us over the head re Salah is beyond me, the guy coudnt even get in our team infront of Moses ffs

And I certainly didnt see anyone saying he will be a world beater

He was pants for us, pants on loan and only slightly better once we sold him.

I suspect that Jose knew KDB had plenty of talent and potential to be excellent. He just didn't particularly care about the long term future of the club and was much more concerned with the here and now and making sure he won trophies on his return to us.

In hindsight I would have happily traded that PL title we won in Jose's second stint if it meant we could have kept De Bruyne instead.

I can remember KDB getting MoM in his first PL start for us. Pretty sure I watched that game with you Biggish. Really was convinced he had a great future with us at that point. Jose had other ideas of course. The rest is all City's benefit.

I was sure Salah was nothing more than a fast headless chicken. That's the only impression you could get from his performances. Only those who worked with him in training could ever tell us if he showed the potential to become what he has.

DeBrunye on the other hand....hardly got a look in and looked good when he did. But Jose told us he had a bad attitude and most lapped it up. We ignored that Jose is a bitter bltch and will say things to make himself look good generally.
