That is woeful. Irrespective of the fact we are 4th, that is a step down from last season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We lost our best player tbf. Now our injured players are back I’d expect more. Very frustrating that the same teams and same type of goals seem to break up down. We are struggling against one tactic and one tactic alone. Not as if we are getting turned over by different types of set ups
It’s like the end of last season. We’re playing crap but everyone else around us is worse.

As bad as Kepa has been, I'm not confident with any of the centre backs this season.
They regularly lose their markers, and are dreadful at dealing with crosses.
I know Rudigar is rated highly by some, but to me he is just bang average.

Kepa has been v good of late though hawk.
Kepa needs a drastic improvement if he’s to become good enough for us. Concedes so many weak goals and has absolutely no presence in the box. He’s a clear weak link that teams know they can exploit if they punt it into the box enough.

I'm also done with having Kante, Jorginho and Mount in midfield - it's extremely ineffective with no creativity.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, amazed Frank went for it when Kova-Jorg-Mount has been our bedrock midfield during our best run.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed.
I think with this combination you get some nice interplay between Jorginho and Kova.
Jorginho is rather flawed in that he heavily relies on having players around him.

Jorgino had so much space and good positions today to hurt them and done nothing. His passing is so rash/too much pace/flat sometimes it’s frustrating

Let's not kid ourselves we lost that game on that one thing only... We were not clinical upfront
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Perhaps but the fact they had one chance and scored is alarming. If you cant win don't lose.
I except we are limited offensively, and I would have accepted controlling the game and drawing 0-0 due to the sufficient quality in the right areas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you miss the two giltedge chances they had in the first half

Brighton and arsenal, did u not watch?
You won't catch me getting on the let's blame Kepa bandwagon here I'm sorry
Frank got the subs wrong imo.
Jorginho and Willian were both poor and could've been taken off.
Tammy as well was getting into dangerous areas, if he really wanted Bats on he should've taken someone else off and gone 2 up top.
Kepa been poor on xSaves all season

Same. I said early season his form wasn’t good enough. But of late he’s been very good and don’t think anyone would have saved it today

I think even Kepa would admit he could have done better for the goal, as could Rudiger, is what it is

In defence, at least I noticed a few times where he did make a cutting pass.
Also, the same could be said for all our midfielders today - besides James, nobody was creative or good in possession.

The one off the bar was in the first half surely
Rudi was poor throughout as well.
Christensen looked relatively solid for another game, would like to see him partnered with Tomori.
