Yeah. I think we are missing a commanding presence.

Both Rudi and Chris are very passive - dependable but not very assertive.

Zouma is more assertive, but also rash and unreliable.

Rudi's coming back from injury to be fair. His contribution on the ball looks a lot more limited without Luiz next to him though.

Need a goal scoring CM/AM , severely lacking goals but been severely lacking them from midfield for a while now on a consistent basis anyway. Think we will have to wait until the summer before we see any improvements sadly.

I don't mind Grealish but hard to find a CM these days who can hit 15/20 a season in the prem, to be fair has any midfielder in the prem done it over the past 3 seasons?

Dont see to have anyone who can hit decent shots from distance at mo, helps against teams who defend deep constantly, even Lamps has said we need to be taking more shots.

We could build a fantastic team around Grealish. If we're serious about competing again with the likes of Pool and City then that's the direction we need to take imo.

I think Frank is wrong in that interview as well, thought tbf he may just be saying it for effect.

Players do get better, including at finishing as the team gels and players get more used to the system and to their teammates.

Neither Pool nor City became the teams that they did in 6 or 7 months.
