Even Jimenez from Wolves is a pretty decent striker but unlikely they'd sell.

Grealish is doing really well considering his club are struggling

I only saw the 2nd half today, but in period Kante for me was our best player.

I have loads of faith in Mount, seems to have the right kind of attitude to go and eventually maximise his talent level, along with the perfect manager to help him along the way.

Think he’s done better than anyone expected for a first season in the PL.

I think he is doing well.

Emerson and Barkley did quite well, better than I expected. Willy was pretty damn poor. Tammy too.

Mount has been quiet of late.

Played good in the Arsenal away game in a different role as part of the front 3.

Not sure he's suited to a 4-3-3

Thought Barkley was very inventive when he came on...dare I say almost looked like a creative midfielder

On form he gives us that creative spark and inventiveness that we otherwise seriously lack in central positions. Not necessarily in abundance but significantly more than without at present.

Looking like a 3 way race in Serie A now, Lazio right up there with Inter and Juve.

Not much managers can do against teams that sit deep and defend well. Talent is needed to win those games, not tactics.

Tactics can prevent us from losing.

The only talent we had on the pitch went off injured after 70 or so minutes. As soon as he left it, I was certain we were either going to draw or lose.

Tactics are important but Reece James showed what WC ability really looks like when it comes to delivering the ball into the box. In terms of our other attackers, I couldn't really pick out an "elite" quality to their attacking play in terms of chance creation/scoring.

Maddison is 2 years older than Mount and Grealish is 3 years older. People would have been laughed out of the room if they suggested either of those as top quality signings for Chelsea when they were Mount’s age, so why is Mount being almost written off in his first ever PL season?

He’s better than either of those two were at the same age. Neither Grealish nor Maddison are good enough to warrant blocking Mount’s development IMO.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's because Maddison and Grealish are currently playing at a level above Mount.

Also, there is no guarantee that Mount will become that good; he's been poor this season bar from a couple of months at the start.

I cant knock his attitude or work rate, but he looks pretty limited technically on the ball.

The above to me is nonsense. Mount is in my top 3 performers the whole season.

True but they can't prevent Kepa being a crap goalie. The sooner we admit that we spunked 70 mill on him and that he's just not good enough, especially in crucial moments, the better. I don't think he'll be here next season.

55.4% — Kepa Arrizabalaga has the worst save percentage of any keeper in the Premier League.

127th — Out of 132 keepers from Europe's top seven leagues Kepa ranks 127th in save percentage.

I'm no expert on keepers but Onana has impressed me a lot whenever I've watched him. Definitely excudes more confidence as a keeper than Kepa does and he's bigger. Kepa just looks like a rake thin midget in goal compared to other keepers.

I’ve just watched MOTD and I don’t think you can blame Kepa for not saving it, Hayden was right in front of him when he headed it in. It would’ve taken some Superman ability to keep that out.

How was that not a red card in the West Ham v Everton game
