if you go back and see the comments for
Falcao
Higuian
Pato
BA
the list goes on
Cavani will end up the same and the definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result
Cavani has zero motivation to come here and do well

Looks like Man Utd are sniffing around Cavani so if he's coming to the PL it seems more likely he's going there at this point.

He was good in the EL. That's about where it ends.

Why do I have to choose beyond the obvious successes?
Tammy and to a lesser degree Eto'o

Not selling youth should be considered the equivalent of signing a new player.

Not sure Abraham counts given he joined the club as a foetus (give or take a few years).
I'm just intrigued. I'd count Remy, Eto'o, Giroud and maybe Ba as successes as they were all signed to be cheap-ish squad options and all did basically what they were asked to do (at least Remy and Ba did when fit).
Sturridge and Lukaku were also successes as 'investments' I guess even if we didn't make the most of them as players.

Always saddens me that peopel discount Crespo. Yes it could have worked our better, but he had a very good season season for us in 2005/2006 season and was absolute class
I also remember watching the first few games with Mutu and thinking we had signed a world y............sadly, in the end we had signed a junky

Had his highs and lows
Disappointment of the Newcastle game should still be fresh in the minds of the players, hopefully that will lead to a decent response tonight

Think we’ll win 3-0 or 3-1

Not sure about that. It may be the change playing with Kacazette suits them?
So team I am hoping for is...
RJ Rudiger AC Azpi/Emerson
Kante Kova Mount
Willian Tammy CHO
