But Hudson-Odoi does not have Hazard's touch, explosion or vision.
My concern with Hudson-Odoi is what does he do. And if he's going to struggle to score consistently, I'm really not sure what he does?

Same could be said of Kova, Jorg, Mount, to name three

Apart from his talent on penalties and a worrying trend for getting booked, i'm still failing to see the value of Jorg currently...& Kova looks world class for 20 minutes & then goes missing
Oh how I long for Rubes to get back fit...if he ever does, & then how long before he gets crocked again..which he will

In saying all this we are miles ahead of where I thought we'd be this term...I had us 8th at best
Luckily Goonz $puds & United are just so comically poor at times it makes us look better than we are

As someone who doesn't think much of Loftus-Cheek, I'm really not fussed.
Also given he suffered a full achilles rupture and apparently very significant muscular atrophy in his calf, he may never be the same player again.

No..I said this, I compared him to Hargreaves, & until I see something to the latter...sadly It might be true
Van Ginkel..there's another
I have high hopes for Pulisic...but he looks lightweight at times

4 appearances in like 5+ years...ridiculous...this could be Rubes in effect
RLC is better than all our other options as the advanced midfielder
Or at least was. I think we've reached the stage where we should assume he ain't coming back and act accordingly in terms of transfers.
We could still hijack the Erikson deal...
I'll be surprised if we get anyone in January with the way it's looking.

Sad but true. Could have been a fantastic player for us this season. He may well still but we need to move forward and if he doesn't then we're covered.

There's basically no incentive for Spurs to sell him to us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Only the fact that he is a little toxic at the moment and doesn't want to play at spurs

None of our rivals have done anything that might scare us.

Possibly the worst January window ever

But they can sell him to Inter and they'd likely get more benefit by having him still be a Spurs player albeit unhappy for the next 6 months than selling him to us.
If the reported fee is €20m that's nothing relative to the £80m+ Spurs would lose out if they don't qualify for the CL (which would become more likely if they sold Eriksen to us).

Yeah you're not wrong
And Jose would basically cut off his left arm before helping us
