Drinkwater is up there as one of the worst signings ever.
At least Bakayoko was intended to replace Matic and has performed quite well at other clubs.
But everyone knew from the start Drinkwater was way overpriced as a backup option with no resale value. Would have been better off using a youth player in the role of hardly playing. Let Chalobah run down his final year of contract instead of getting £7m for him. Or going for Ox for the reasons Gazza mentioned. The fact that we're in the position of struggling to give him away is of no surprise to anyone. May as well have forced Matic to stay. Definitely should have achieved top 4 that year.
Morata and Bakayoko also were largely responsible for failing to make top 4 that year, but at least we should be able to recoup most of what we paid for them, so only led to a year's worth of damage.
Zappa was another Drinkwater type signing whose current situation is also of little surprise given the deadline day mid table backup panic buy transfer. Shame it was a little too early for Reece.

Reports Kobe Bryant has died in a helicopter crash in California

Very regular helicopter user apparently...
Not a basketball fan by any means..but RIP Legend
By no means perfect but created a lot of happy memories for a lot of people, myself included. Hard to imagine the Lakers or even basketball with him absent.
Damn just saw the Kobe Bryant news, shocking
His 13 year old daughter as well. Fk.
One her teammates and one of the parents.
And the pilot of course. Tragedy. Poor families.
