Just been one of them seasons so far sadly.

Our decent form and how well the younger players started etc was ever going to last a season unfortunately and not strengthening in January will probably cost us as well injury wise.

A lot of big players injured which doesn't help. As we all know Frank knows what needs to be fixed but unfortunately theres little that will change this season sadly. I'd like to think next season is hopefully more injury free and new signings brought in.

Last night was just a farce in all aspects of it. Still got to go through the bad before you can get to the good. Wr wont see anything majorly different until next season unless RLC,Pulisic etc can get back from injury in the next couple of weeks.

The mis treatment of bats and giroud is franks biggest negative for me this year. They’ve scored goals everywhere they’ve been and yeah they are not good enough to start for a top team consistently, but to completely dismiss and at times not even have them in the squad is terrible management

Just watched the highlights and we were just cheated again.
We’re sh!t enough, we don’t need decisions like that against us. Playing with players like willy and bats is already handicap enough.

I’m glad u have the ability to do that. Sadly for me it is a lot of what revolves around me. Didn’t get in till half 12 last night ffs

Last night couldn’t have gone any worse...

Missed chances
Same players who should be dropped playing
Our best player injured
Refereeing decisions against us
Var decisions against us

All with a packed schedule to come and games v Munich lol

Yup, everything went wrong. I'm not looking to blame everything on VAR and awful ref decisions but bloody hell.

Even if we were on it last night I doubt we could have won the game with everything going against us like that.

They say that a good manager is a lucky manager. So far Lamps hasn't been lucky as manager here. But despite few things going our way this season we're still 4th somehow so that's something.

Not that I expected 4th going into the season anyway.

Yeah Giroud has to get a look in now. Certainly needs to be ahead of Michy in the pecking order.

The bloke in the food kiosk should get a look in before him

I really wish i still had my fitness, I would have bought some pads and boots lastnight and been more use than willian or bats. So frustrating.

Where was Barkley last night? He wasn't on the bench was he ?

He was on the bench, probably would have come on if we didn't have to replace Kante & AC due to injury.

Fair enough, I didn't take too much notice of the bench at ko. I think he'd have made a difference. Not because he's great but our attacking options are so thin on the ground at the moment.

Broken arm apparently, will require surgery. Without both their main forwards in Kane & Son.

Surely we can get a result this weekend

I have no idea how Lampard fixes this without potentially completely changing the style that he is trying to implement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
what would you advocate Gazza...?

I think you're right BTW

If Spurs have no forward you can bet they'll stack up tight & play on the break even more than they might have anyway...

and if we field anything like we did last night, we'll get smashed...mind you AC & Kante won't feature for starters

posted on 18/2/20

Spurs without Kane and Son are severely handicapped, trouble is we are also going to be missing several very important players so we will still most likely struggle to capitalise

I'd be tempted to switch to a back 3 vs Spurs. But then I'm not sure about Jorginho in a midfield two.

Caballero
Azpi Rudiger Tomori
RJ Jorginho Kovacic Alonso
Willian Tammy Mount
