Hes 40 so I'm hopeful he'll pull through as a mild case

Says he feels very tired

He has two kids and a wife similar age

The tube has to continue to run for key workers. Your social distancing impact doesn’t become invalidated because others can’t due to no other choice.

So ...how are you lads spending your time...?

I'm desperately trying to find things to do that don't involve watching telly during the day

Garden(s) are pretty up to date...got the hot tub to get out next week

Made some mini-decking yesterday, from old bed slats replaced some old stuff that's now on my wood pile for winter..

when the weather goes back to shat i'm going to struggle though...

American chaps on here, Sister in law is in Australia and trying to get her home before this all escalates. Looking at flights, one route is through LAX. Is it open and allowing arrivals from AUS?

Ta for your help.

Don't think flights from Australia have stopped. The US is allowing citizens to come home. Should check with her airline about specific flights.

Here's the State Dept website:

wtf so the self employed can claim 80% of wages up to 2,500 a month but they don't get paid until June, what they meant to do until then?

Universal credit. £94 per week.

Plus no rent or mortgage for three months.

Still not enough though, I agree.

If you have savings you will be fine - if you don't, you won't.

Were I self-employed I wouldn't bother and would go to work at Tesco for three months, much less complicated.

haven't announced anything for private renters
