And as far as I can see the vast vast majority of people in the country are following the lockdown rules exactly and responsibly.
Allowing the state to take away anymore of our freedoms than they already have this week becomes a very slippery slope towards a potentially Orwellian society.

Thankfully, the government has not gone that far - yet.

My comment came off the back of a conversation with my brothers. Who hate my conspiracy theories. One brother said. OK if all that is true, what are you going to do about it. If this is what they are planning what can you do other than be compliant.
He also called me out for my hipocricy for calling conspiracy but then getting annoyed with people being out.
I think it's a very interesting discussion personally

I am at cross purposes and a total hypocrite
Seeing more and more reports of healthy people going I to insteive care, more healthy people dying.
It's scary so I want to be protected from it. I don't want to die.
So I want everyone to stay the feck indoors to keep the NHS running so if I or anyone in my family get sick they can have the care they need.
No one wants an orwellian distopia, but that's how these things are enforced, through fear

and in about 10 weeks we've only had 10% of people / 135 people that have recovered? That's BS as well

New York has almost 60,000 confirmed cases and just under 1000 deaths. Italy over 100,000 cases and over 10,000 desths. Even allowing for a lag effect,l in NY, the death ratio differential appears extraordinary.
Most years with the flu though I don’t think the NHS faces the same level of strain.
