A 13-year-old boy from Brixton, London has reportedly become Britain's youngest coronavirus victim, a fundraiser has claimed. Ismail Mohamed Abdulwahab is believed to have died alone at Kings College Hospital in London yesterday, with family members unable to visit him in fear of catching the deadly virus, according to a fundraiser. He is not thought to have had any underlying health conditions. News of the boy's death was shared on a GoFundMe post created by Madinah College, a mosque in Brixton, to raise money for Ismail's funeral.

I work in the healthcare field. Here's the problem, we are testing people for any strain of a Coronavirus. Not specifically for COVID-19. There are no reliable tests for a specific COVID-19 virus

-------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That actually true? The flu itself is a coronavirus isn’t it? Would make the numbers very unreliable

posted on 31/3/20

see this is interesting

https://www.statista.com/statistics/569435/number-of-deaths-in-italy-by-region/

100k deaths in lombardy in 2018 nearly double anywhere else in italy and that's the worst hit region in italy from coronavirus with 4-5k deaths? Be interested to know what their total deaths are so far this year as a whole, imagine you'd expect 25,000 from everything in line with previous years

Mate honestly i would take anything on facebook with a pinch of salt, majority is utter BS but some of it is slightly interesting

posted on 31/3/20

However that one i posted because that wouldn't surprise me as there is loads of coronaviruses as opposed to only a few strains of influenza so it must be hard to identify, and might explain why some are so mild

Really? So they have no conclusive way of knowing if a person actually has covid 19 ?? This is all starting to get very vague and weird. There are lots of different coronaviruses as such so testing positive for a coronavirus doesn't mean much. The common cold is a coronavirus.
