Trump had a mare with it originally but acted swiftly and decisively and is now on it and putting the mugs in their place and telling it how it is. That’s my president
I like him, I like Boris to man really fkin hope he makes full recovery ASAP. Some of the $kum messages people posted towards him are sickening and these people don’t deserve to breathe, wishing him dead just because they don’t like him or because of what political party they support, get real all politicians end up as khunts or $hit in the job it’s the impossible job. He’s a human being and has been doing his best and is someone’s son, boyfriend and about to be a dad.
Similar with Trump he made a mistake with the herd immunity BS but quickly and swiftly rectified it

I don't see what Oscar has said here that is mental tbh
I think his view on Trump is too charitable, but his overall outlook is probably closer to the views of the country than the reactionary, far-left political crap you see on the Live Election Day thread.

Great argument there Arab

I just say it how i see it i don't have any "political" views as such, i'm not a tory or labour i just go by who i actually like couldn't care what the party is more the person.
I didn't like Theresa May and the only reason i even voted Tory was because i fackin hated Corbyn more. Only main politicians i have genuinely liked have been David Milliband (Fackin hated his brother though) David Cameron and Boris.
I actually quite like the new labour leader so far, they must be due a good one, Corbyn, Milliband, Gordon Brown and Tony blair can't get any worse in recent times lol
My main issue with Tony Blair was just purely because of the way he use to lick bush's ass and just basically bend over and be a carpet for america, was basically bush's puppy dog and the whole world knew about it, made us look so fackin week
Hopes of lifting lockdown fade: Britain's extreme coronavirus measures WILL be discussed at a COBRA meeting tomorrow - but Rishi Sunak refuses to 'speculate about the future' amid fears lockdown is to continue for weeks
--------------------
Wish they'd stop talking or asking about this, we need another 3 weeks minimum.
Can reassess in May
This WHO khunt has some nerve
'The United States and China should come together and fight this dangerous enemy,' Tedros said. 'They should come together to fight it and the rest of G-20 should come together to fight it, and the rest of the world should come together and fight it.
-------------------------
China couldn''t even be honest with their numbers ffs, honestly USA has nearly half a million cases and 15k deaths and has only been testing properly for about 2 weeks yet china with 4 times their population had 80k cases and 3.5k deaths.
Yeh... might as well rename the WHO the CHO

Perfectly reasonable for them to say No until a peak in cases has reached and we start seeing a decline.
I am sure they can start planning an "exit strategy" once that happens. It's probably going to happen in stages over a 6-8 week period from mid-April
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think mid April is optimistic, End of April realistically. Italy and Spain are still seeing pretty high cases, I imagine and hope by the end of April it would be down to minimal new cases (1,000 and under a day) and hospital admissions down etc and then by end of April early May they’ll be in a position to say non essential shops can open like barbers etc then mid May / end of May open up restaurants then another 2 weeks later pubs and offices, then a few weeks later in June maybe restarting sports with limited crowds then from July back to full normality obviously in those periods if there is no cause for concern and no real big spike
I do wonder how much of social distancing they will keep though forever going forward, or to try and integrate it more, maybe not to these lengths of 6 feet but maybe a lot more spaced or keeping the barriers up in shops and supermarkets to protect staff in general etc
I guess a lot of these things that have happened will stay, would people want to go back to having trolleys that haven’t been cleaned or not wearing a face mask or keeping their distance with random people
Going to be interesting, I guess a little less interesting for us as a country as we are a bit more hands off in general to some countries.
I just wonder how much will remain, don’t think life will ever fully go back to how it was pre-corona
Imagine a lot more people will work from home regularly now as well after all of this, a lot more people will stop using cash etc
Good stuff is cleanliness will be more common now hopefully. Ironically it’s not a “new world order” like these conspiracy nut nuts want you to think but it will be a kind of different and new world
Sad that it takes a global pandemic for people to start washing their hands and to not be a dirty cretin
