If I’m listening to anything at work it’s usually a podcast rather than music as well

At home I prefer listening to new stuff, but when on the go that’s where the stuff I already have saved comes into play.
And most of the time when I’m listening it’s while commuting, so not much effort in place for new discoveries.

Sufjan Stevens was another good one for that. Mainly the Carrie and Lowell album.

I listen to C&L sometimes at work, but as an album is quite heavy with it's themes and song writing.
It was the album which got me into his work, I had listened to some of his other releases, but they never had quite the same impact.
It's an album though I would struggle to recommend - due to my own experiences I hold it very close to myself - it's probably one of if not my favourite album of all time.
It's nice to hear from another Sufjan fan btw

Fantastic album - the closing song is a masterpiece!
What do you think of the rest of his work?

Have you tried out FKA Twigs, she is often compared to Bjork. Though her voice is not nearly as good (she is still a great singer though!), but the musical production is certainly interesting and creative.

Haven’t listened to all of his stuff yet Black Hawk but I also liked C&L and Illinois. What are your favourites of his?

Outside of the big three I would recommend his EP All Delighted People. It's similar to Adz but more prog rock - it's strange that it's considered an EP as it is the length of an album. It's arguably even better than Adz tbh.
Severn Swans and Michigan are also great records if you like Illinois and C&L. However, they do have a bit of filler though.
Best work by him are Carrie and Lowell, Illinois and All Delighted People
Cheers Black Hawk, I’ll give those a crack when I get the chance

NP. If you have any recommendations (or anyone else), I will certainly give it a go
I would echo Forza’s (or was it CSTP) suggestion to go back and give Radiohead another go.
In Rainbows is a masterpiece and Moon Shaped Pool is also superb. OK Computer and Kid A were the ultimate grower albums for me, didn’t like them for ages but now think they are both absolute masterpieces.
OK Computer and Kid A represent the peak of my love for Radiohead that has be dwindling ever since. At this point I mostly can't be bothered with them but will go through rare phases where I listen to a few of their songs and say "yeah okay they're decent"
But I prefer soooooo many other bands to them. Radiohead just.... lost any edge I felt they had. Are not raw. Overly produced.

The fact they made an album as good as A Moon Shaped Pool 30 years after they formed is incredible to me

dana white was still trying to host UFC events just to try cash in on some high viewing figures with everyone staying indoors, guy's a pr!ck it's not like he simply wanted to put some sport on for everyone because he was PPV'ing it and if he cared about his fighters and people so much like he said he could of easily paid them some money himself out of the half a billion he's worth instead of risking people's lives. What if one of the fighters was asymptomatic?
Guy's a nob, thankfully ESPN forced him to pull the plug
Dana White released plans the other week of hiring a private island and doing UFC fights there
Mrs Pepper has awoken with a cough & a temperature this morning...
I was amazed she never picked it up earlier, seeing as I was showing symptoms over two weeks ago...
and seeing as I don't know if i've had it or not, I guess i'm quarantined again...not that it's going to make a lot of difference to much
Sheriff can you define the cough? What actually happens, you just wake up and cough relentlessly?
