Gets worse, this is shocking.
These riots need to be ended ASAP, give them the option of going home or being shot

1. That wasn’t his business, it’s been confirmed.
2. He was attacked because he was charging at them with a sword. There’s a full video of it here:

Although I’m not saying a group of 20 people beating the shiiit out of him is warranted at all.

What’s the point / main intention anyway tho as I asked yesterday and nobody could answer
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you considered scrolling up?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeh but i still don't get the point like what is their goal on this mission? bring back an alien? explore? are they stepping outside the rocket? like what are they actually doing or are they just going up to wave and then come back down
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The goal is for us to be able to send people to space. As stated before, part of this was to develop manned spaceflight capabilities again.
It is a demonstration of a platform for future space travel/transportation. This will allow us to more easily (and I believe at lower cost) resupply and man the ISS.
The ISS helps us continue experiments to learn about a number of things including effects on people. You can look up things they are studying if you are truly curious.
In terms of going to space in general, exploration and knowledge. There are commercial, political, and defense interests as well. Still, you could ask why people set out across the ocean or plumbed its depths, or why when encountering a mountain they sought the summit or to venture beyond it. To me there is value in pursuing knowledge for the sake of knowledge. In my conversations with you, it's obvious that pursuit ended before it began.
What other questions do you have?

Long term there’s also the consideration of seeing if it’s possible to let humans live on Mars one day

In all seriousness, asking why is valid. More so given NASA's funding. Their budget is relatively miniscule though. The other part of the endeavor is commercial. You can try to work that bit out yourself.
