If it weren’t for the West Ham shambles and then the Palace shambles I would be happy to chalk today up to simply a bad day at the office against a good team in form. As it is I can’t see us doing too well in these 3 games.

Weren't good enough
Need to work harder

Even if we don't make the CL next season, not great but not terrible. Not the first time and means we can concentrate on the league with what should (in theory) be an exciting, attacking line up. We will still see a CB join. Especially after today. We still made a good investment recruitment wise when we weren't in the CL
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We won't get Havertz without CL football imo, but I guess we can fix the defence.

As I said, Ramsey might be a good plan B with Jorginho going the other way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair mate any player, especially at the age of 21, who wouldn't join a club on the basis of not being In the CL for potentially one season...not sure. If he wants the move then irrespective of the CL football or not, he would sign.

Again, one season out of the CL is nothing now in fairness. If we to finish 10th and looking like we weren't going to be in the top 4 for the next 3 or 4 seasons, fair enough
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He can go to Real or Bayern in a year and play CL season for a decade - guaranteed - or play in the Emmerdale Cup with us - not a hard choice now is it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Means nothing. Doesn't mean he will win it once does it? its not all about CL football.

Many players could go to a club based purely on CL football, but they don't.

Our best performances have been agst Liverpool and playing them at Anfield, no fans to scare the ref and nothing to play for. We have a good chance to beat them.

I can’t see both Spurs and Sheffield beating Leicester. Expecting them to definitely drop points, but still get 1 or 2 points; which seems enough added with a point against Utd and a win against Bournemouth.

Hopefully Bruno and co can help us out on the final day. Maybe they’ll want to boost their G+A stats further

Norwich had the ability to outplay other Championship teams with possession of the ball. That is really hard to replicate in the PL with the technical quality of players across the division.

It's why I think Leeds will really struggle if they come up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah makes me think that promoted teams are much more likely to try and replicate Sheffield Utd than Norwich who have struggled badly in this division.

If Bielsa is still at Leeds then I'm very intrigued to see what they do next season.

That is fair.... If we look at our performances only then we gave no right to finish top 4. But football is always catching us out

Absolute cert Sheffield United roll over and get their bellies tickled against Leicester like they did against United.

But at the end of the day why is it always us these teams step up against? We pretty much allow it to happen

Leaving Barkley on instead of Mount was such an amateur move. I get he made a mistake that lead to a goal...but Barkley was an on-going mistake from the start.

The more I watch it, the more appalling Zouma's defending is for Sheffield United's 3rd goal.

We are exploitable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yep, so we can’t really complain that teams who normally get shat on turn up against us

He is the sort of guy who may resign following promotion, he is that unpredictable.

Hope Leeds go up.

Top boys.

Yeah it will make for great viewing if he's still there next season. I suspect that they start great but the wheels come off a bit later in the season.
