The CBs shouldn't be that bad tbh.
I think it's a mixture between not enough protection and having a real big drop of form from Rudiger.
Most people including myself were expecting Rudiger to be a first choice CB. The others are all young and developing - I can handle some inconsistency there.

I will be honest, a Luiz rocket is preferable to a double injury, primary school level defending and a bananas sending off.

Cannon fodder vs. a crossing team, which is much of the league now. Otherwise yes, if he was better in the air he'd have been converted to CB (in a back 4) years ago.

It’s impossible to tell from that angle, it looks close. Was a bit strange no replay was shown or even mentioned whether VAR looked at it
