Problem with Kante is if he has another injury hit season, or his level has noticeably declined, then we have lost any chance to make money on him. It is almost like the difference in Essien’s value, reputation and ability in 2008 and then in 2010.
That said it is maybe worth the risk because if he returns to close to his best level he is a world class player.
Maybe a new role as a DM rather than a box to box midfielder would suit his older age and more limited mobility.

I dont think £30m was a bargain. Leicester got a bargain. We opportunistically took advantage of a clause like with Werner.

I just don’t get people who are overly critical of music. I can listen to near enough anything and enjoy it.

This shlt drives me up the wall. If anything I prefer people who ARE overly critical as it shows they care and have a greater love of the art. Those who are okay with "near enough anything" generally make statements like "its got a good beat" when you ask why they like a certain song.
I like loving music. And tbh there is soooooo much music out there for everyone that its very possible to find new music you love even now. Im nearly 40 and it hasn't stopped me from reaching out for new exciting sounds that I could put on repeat all day for a week. I havent fallen into that trap all of our dads fell in where "music went down the shltter" for them. Mainstream radio hasn't played anything worthwhile in decades out here imo. So I go searching. Well worth it.
If being enjoyable backround is good enough for somebody I guess fair enough. But I dont think hating on someone for caring a lot about what sounds they want in their ears is a good way to spend your energy.

I've only heard a tony bit of this guy. I know wlenough its nothing that would connect with me. Its offensively inoffensive.
