Its very rare a deserving artist wins anything. Better yet, a deserving artist doesn't need an award to know they're producing great art. Its all a sham.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am one of those people who believes the pursuit of what is meaningful and the creation of something you have made yourself is enough of an accomplishment. F I was talented enough to have anything artistic published i would be thrilled
Wouldn't want to jump through industry hopes for Grammy nomination.
Also agree that typically the most deserving people are ignored or not appreciated at the time they make something, and that even among the nominees the less interesting stuff seems to win. The fact that Billie Elish is probably the most interesting Best Album Grammy winner in about 30 years is kind of telling .

I just think people would argue that people like OutKast, Adele etc are worthy of the award. Not sure what being interesting has to do with it tbh. But can safely say I’ve only heard that one Billie eilish song so could change my opinion

Ketchup is good for some things although thats fairly minimal.
I must chime in that in terms of condiments, they must be that, I can’t be having it all over my sh!t to the point that it masks the taste of what I’m actually having .
Strictly for dipping for me

I can’t stand when people like all sorts of condiments meaning they’re happy with sub par condiments lol I cba to carry on.
The Grammys is certainly not a certification that something is good. Of the last 10 years the only album winner which stands out as something outstanding, would be The Suburbs by Arcade Fire.
Ed Sheeran can be recognised as someone who is commercially very successful making music. But I wouldn't say as a singer song writer, that artistically he is very interesting.

Probably yeah.
I remember hearing Peter Kenyon in an interview saying they wanted someone with a Ferguson type presence to boost the brand as well as the team, probably because with the exception of Crespo (and maybe Veron) we weren't able to tempt players who'd fulfill that objective.
If that was the case. Mission accomplished with flying colors
Was using it as an example of being one of the highest selling and acclaimed albums of all time lol nothing more

I think his music was very overrated. That said I accept he was critically acclaimed. Kind of an example of exception proving the rule though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When I was very Young I watched the movie Moonwalker which was so bad...anyways, I loved one of his songs on there. I kept watching the movie just for that song. Later in life I realized it was 'Come Together' by the Beatles.
At that point I had no connection to Michael Jackson except through "Rock With You" which I think wasn't even written by him.
Guess you can say the same about most of his songs.
Jurgen Macho was a good start, that was the coup, but the rest were average
I'm guessing if it hadn't of been Mourinho, Roman would've thrown obscene amount of money at Eriksson to quit England after Euro 2004. That would've been... interesting.
