Hazard and Ziyech would probably work really well

I really dont get the Madrid dream in general
Soulless operation
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Horrible fans, Franco money, play in white, yeah I don’t get it either. Nothing you achieve there has not been done either.
Were an elite player I would want to be a big fish in a small pond and play for a team where every trophy is a big facking deal. Like Athletic Bilbao or Sevilla or Villareal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even someone like Bale will split fans over there. Which is kind of incredibly really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean Bale’s attitude is now pretty terrible but it has got to this point due to clownish nature of that club and its lack of support for player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah. I have never rated Bale as highly as some but he has been so badly mismanaged and under appreciated by Real.

Sarri probably get the sack after getting knocked out
---------------------------------------------------
Yep.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was never going to work tbh.
Fair play to Lyon btw, underrated team imo
-------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah their squad's awesome, great mix of young players with a few forgotten gems.
I'm slightly surprised there's never any talk of United activating their buy back on Memphis. Looked like a baller for Lyon.
Zidane is supposed to be a great man manager and yet the Bale saga is surely mostly an issue with his own ego

To be fair he was hardly great after he left.
I think he just doesn't fit in with the team, under Carlo it was alright as at least the manager supported him. After he left he has been slipping backwards.

It also doesn't help that the Real squad is filled with so many egos.
Going back to Hazard, theres been occasions when Ramos could have given him the chance to take a penalty to Hazard- just so he can get his confidence up.

I mean just doesn't have to be offering the penalty to Hazard particularly, it could have to been to any of the attackers who are struggling for goals.
But no, Ramos being captain should be taking penalties over their attackers...

Would Bale do well in the PL if he returned and if so - for what club?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably do pretty well if he applied himself.
He's a really talented player. Despite the trophies he has won, I kind of feel Real was in a way a bad move for him personally.

Yeah, but if he is at your club he is your baztard. Which makes him immediately loveable. Like Diego Costa.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not if I'm in the minority, but I found Costa to be extremely frustrating. I was actually looking forward to Morata
I think Morata for me is one of those players I was most wrong about!

I didnt care for Costa towards the end when it was apparent he wanted to leave, he didnt really bother trying much after his move to China was aborted in January.
I liked Morata. I really, really wanted him to succeed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I liked him. To me it really seemed like he might have struggled with some issues mental health related. Perhaps depression or anxiety.
The interviews he gave to the media alluded to such problems. So I always felt really sorry for him in a way.

ramos has made himself into one of the finest penalty takers i've ever seen
he's pen technique and nerves, are immaculate
he's a a much better pen taker than CR7

- Sell Pogba
- Don’t sign Maguire, AWB or Fernandes (maybe give them one to account for us bringing Pulisic)
- Have their remaining best player injured for half the season among many other injuries.
Ole didn’t have any of these issues yet got the same number of points as Lampard, with 6 extra months in the job.
Not a chance he should be nominated instead and any United fans saying otherwise are deluded idiots.

He is a brilliant penalty taker. But he isn't the only great penalty taker in the team.
His primary job is a defender - David Luiz is a world class penalty taker, but he never took it upon himself to take every penalty. It's a lot more beneficial to have forwards or midfielders take this responsibility.
It especially makes less sense when you are comfortably winning. Players at Chelsea have often rotated between taking penalties, despite us having excellent penalty takers like Hazard or Lampard.
