Doubt we ever find out how we actually paid/will pay for Havertz. Given how different the reported fee is in Germany and in England, either Chelsea are lying, Leverkusen are lying or both (or both are spinning the fee in the absolute most positive light for them for PR purposes).

Just doing my FF team and saw that Zaha only scored 4 PL goals last season despite playing all of it. Just find that such an anomaly for a player of his ability and attacking threat. Anyone else shed any light on it ?

But we've seen plenty of players score goals in not very good teams before. It's surely more to do with the player himself.

He is literally the only Palace player with any sort of flair about him, Meyer's the next best in my book which sums it up really.
I think he's overrated but it won't be right to judge him to harshly until he's in a different mold of team.

Haven't read a paper in maybe ten years...good for one thing...my wood burner
for me, as soon as we secure a player I tend to forget the fee. Doesnt make a single difference to me. The goal is to get the player at whatever price we deem acceptable. At that point its down to the player and club to make sure the acquisition is a success. Does anyone remember Pulisic's transfer fee off hand? I dont.
I want to see the creativity flowing this season. We have gained new dimensions to this side.

Yeh I hate always being right but I did say when masks were made mandatory we’d see big spikes. We was getting under 1,000 pre masks, since mandatory masks we’ve been over 1000 every day.
face touching is the biggest spread and 90% of mask wearers don’t stop touching their fackin face or fiddling with the mask, no mask = no excess face touching
Lockdown was quite peaceful anyway, roads were empty great to drive on no traffic just do as you please, something very authentic about long queues, everyone’s bored and everyone feels like we’re all in it together and it’s a lot more tight knitted and community spirited
Didn’t hate it that much, think I’d need drugs to get through another one though
