Coming from a non-expert in this department, I think a lot of this has to do with his improved mental health and reduced anxiety. Along with some changes to his diets, lifestyle and medication.

Such issues are horrible to have. So I'm sorry to hear you are going through this yourself

Yeh it has for like 2/3 weeks split over months

And the wind just never seems to stop now even when it’s hot it’s so windy we have a serious wind problem

Is additional wind part of the climate change ?

Been hot but my hands are still cut to hell cos of the wind man

Rather it be 15 with no wind than 30 with wind, the former is hotter really

Hitting the point where I think I might just have to have one day a week where I stay indoors and don’t eat anything with my hands so I can just give my hands a day off from the soap, might help improve them, like fackin brittle these days man

Or then again it could be from smoking and the wind cutting them as as it’s only my left hand

Back to climate change - where I'm most cynical is that despite people being concerned for the environment, I don't really see enough personal responsibility from the public. Not even activists do enough to limit their own contributions.

I don't disagree with Dave about the problems we face - I just have more faith (and I get that it is faith) in the effectiveness of technological advancement and the flexibility and durability of our species.

I think much of the natural world is facked and I fear for our biodiversity, but I also think GM food, nuclear power, automation, AI, emission free vehicles, and naturally declining populations in the Western world (the biggest offenders), will help us manage the effects.

In terms of technology, I do have some faith. But I have reservations over the politics and application.

Like I stated before on the politics thread, certain doomsday predictions were made by the likes of Malthus and other liberals. Their concerns were real, but sadly a lot of their methods to combat these problems were incredibly harmful.

I have both concerns with leaving the issue to the markets, and the idea of a big government central planned economy project.

My bias is towards a demand led solution which will fix the market, but even then I feel regulation will be required to 'encourage' consumers and businesses to make the right changes.

I find it incredible that Liverpool haven't got themselves a striker.

Another midfielder doesn't seem like an improvement they really need.

A CB too would be good for them.

Big time, Jesus is crap

I know he gets like 15 goals but even Negredo and Iheacho hit them numbers any striker would but he is genuinely crap and really will do nothing for them in the big games or that bit of class
