Spurs are just dirty cants. So it feels good putting them in their place.

There was definitely a rival with Arsenal in the early 2000s. We kept losing against them lol.

That’s why knocking them out the CL in 04 was so great.

Since the AFTV era it’s been hard to dislike Arsenal too much.

Arsenal were never good enough against us to be a rival since the invincible era ended

Since the start of the 04/05 season its

22 wins
11 losses
12 draws

Pretty heavy in our favour

Plus you had to kinda feel sorry for them when Drogba alone refused to allow them to have any success.

Kind of what I'm saying, the rivalry (in the last 20-25 years) has been predicated on each of us being dominant over the other at various points, but there's not the same sense of animosity between the players or the fans.

Spurs ALWAYS treat us like a massive game by comparison. Their players always fight that little bit harder/dirtier, their fans talk SO much smack yet tell us we don't matter ... that's the sour rivalry.

Never really felt a rivalry with yous tbh. There was a period where we kept beating you, then a period where you kept beating us.

The games we have nowadays are a bit more competitive as we've fallen to similar levels

Don’t get me wrong, Spurs are the biggest sc’um team in the world, still don’t like Arsenal though as their fans are so deluded I can’t help but despise the whole club.

Since 2012 Spurs have definitely been the main rival

A hat-trick for Kai Havertz and he's now fourth in Europe's top five leagues for goal contributions in 2020!

Robert Lewandowski - 35
Lionel Messi - 32
Cristiano Ronaldo - 31
Kai Havertz - 26

Decent company

I mean the actual state of Spurs fans, they’re having a mass circle jerk over two players who don’t belong to Spurs, an average midfielder, and an average fullback who’s better as a wing back. And they talk about a title challenge

The point about AFTV's definitely applies to me. It's really hard to hate their fans (as a collective) when you see what a hilarious car crash a select few of them are.

My opinion of Spurs fans has gone up dramatically since I discovered Expressions. Before then I was under the impression they were physically incapable of having a laugh/laughing at themselves
