This disasterous defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup deserves some context regarding the incredible bad luck we suffered with imuries to key in form players in that game.

I do think Arteta has done a good job at Arsenal. If Partey works out for them I think they will have quite nice balanced look to them.

Arteta has clearly improved us. His 2 big signings have been Gabriel and Partey who both look good. The problem is our creativity going forward is poor, we couldn't resolve that in the transfer window.

Played all our games under Arteta until lockdown, was pretty shiiiit. But I'd still play him, which shows how bad we are creatively

He'd still surely be a good option off the bench.

I never understand why some people want to abolish the League Cup. If you're worried about fixture congestion, just play the youth and tell the assistant manager to run the game. No one is forcing you to try.

I like having more Chelsea games to watch, and it gives a chance to players who aren't first choice.
