Well the kids helped us get 4th last season so it’s not like they’re all useless

The players have definitely been shlt but they've also shown they can be good. Lampard however....

Bringing in the youth will probably be the best legacy of Lampard's managerial spell.

Essential that the next appointment doesn't waste it.

Yeah these managers have something good going for them at Southampton and Leicester

I'd stay at Leicester if I was him. He has full control there, no meddling board to deal with and no owner that will sack him if he loses a few games. Also it's not impossible he can win the title with Leicester.

All we have to offer him is loads of money for players but he clearly doesn't need that to be a successful manager.

Rodgers has overachieved at every team he’s been at, he has done a good job everywhere he’s been.

I think this is a classic case of biting off more than you can chew. Lots of shiny new toys but no idea how to use them. Underdog status suited Lampard much better.

Yeah I don’t think it was a bad call appointing him last season.

But he’s done as much as he can now. Would have been nice if £120m on two attackers was spent more efficiently. Would have kept him in charge for longer. Whether it was him or the board, some massive deck up was made there. But either way he’s not gonna take us to the next level.

Hassenhuttl I have no idea, he is an unknown variable, a risk I agree.

Brendan is confirmed B-list, a man with a ceiling

Yup. Kinda reminiscent of how we played under RdM. Though in his defence, we were far more exciting in attack.
