Yeah and that's a rusty Billy Gilmour who hasn't played much recently. Imagine if he's given a run of games to get into the groove and get his form fully back

Considering Allison is supposed to be one of the best GKs in the world, that was pretty poor for the Fernandes goal.

When a FK is from that close range, it's always so much easier to hit it on the keeper's side. So he should know where he wants to hit it and adjust his position accordingly.

Didn't help that Thiago ducked instead of trying to block the shot.

I find it crazy that it should be a basic thing for anyone who's watched football before. But elite players and footballing minds don't seem to think about it. I'm pretty sure I'm not some football genius so it's not like what I'm seeing is some high IQ BS.

Maybe I'm missing a very obvious counterargument or something. I see some baffling decisions made so often.

I thought he had a pretty quiet game until his excellent invvement in the third goal, where he was pretty high up the pitch.
