Yeah Havertz and Werner have cost him his job basically. Or at least definitely sped the process up dramatically.

If he wanted those signings, that’s on him. If they came from above I feel some sympathy.

I have read that Tuchel is actually pretty good with young players and gives them a chance so hopefully that’s true

Excellent first season, bit of a wobble half way through the second season and bang adios

Utter joke and we expect Tuchel to come in mid season and try implement his style?

Morata and Bakayoko ended Conte’s reign
Same for Werner and Havertz
Same for Torres finishing of Carlo

Yes there were other issues, but two big money key player signings flopping and keeping you out of top 4 goes a long way.

If we was going to bring in an interim manager you ideally don’t bring one in with a fixed philosophy as that just takes time

Yeah Tuchel looks like schnitzel man to me. He's a bit too thin to be a sauerkraut man I feel.

If they feel this season is basically a write off anyway, could argue it’s a good time for that. Give him the rest of the season to implement his style, then next season we go for it.

Not a fan of bringing in a manager to help underwhelming signings...

Lamps should go Celtic

He should stay away from punditry for a while
He has a kid on the way and a nice severance package I’m sure. Just chill for the rest of the season then think about what’s next when the new season arrives.

Pretty obvious Tuchel was always going to be #1 choice. Much of what happens at Chelsea in the future is reliant on the development of the two German players. Chelsea just looking after their investment.
