Still have Rudi Silva & Zooms as our best back three

AC was ok yesterday, but in general he's flakey, - why the hell Tomori wasn't given a chance is a mystery

Emerson will never get better than he is now..which is average
Alonso has had a little Indian summer this month, but is WAY too slow
Azpi is still a beast, & a leader but again WAY too slow now

James got a bit of a slagging last night on here, but I though he was pretty decent for the most part, & was brilliant not long ago...

Seems Tushy likes three at the back though...

I think we need a Ruben Dias/VVD type CB to partner one of these CBs in the long term.

I don't think they're bad defenders but they need someone superior to do all the leadership and organising for them.

Not worried about Tomori's buy clause. 30mil to AC Milan is a lot of money, I can't see them activating that no matter how well he plays.

In times past I might've been worried we'd negotiate a smaller fee but not in the Marina era. He'd have to REALLY want the move & even then we'd probably work out an even better deal spend out over installments & incentive bonuses.
