yeah but thankfully Shearer was having none of it in the analysis

I found the Werner knocking pass the keeper a bit weird, most people knock it front of them and then get the foul.

I thought the ref didn't give it because of that.

Good thing VAR cleared it up.

More realistic to knock it goalward in that situation

However it did look a bit like Werner had knocked it too far to actually retrieve it with the covering defender there

He was standing next to the corner taker for all the corners. The one time we played it short to him it just went backwards!
