Yep still skeptical.

Learn more about him after a defeat or a bad run

He said it felt like a champions league game where we like the European side coming to Anfield and being quite brave and too sharp on the ball.

Michael Antonio saying he prefers football without fans 🤯 Less pressure and he can hear things better

I think certain confidence players might also prefer a lack of fans

I dont think many of of our players are in top form...at least not until last match. So I'm very impressed with what he's been able to do with them. Even still his selections sometimes confuse me but for the most part they work out better than I could have hoped. So I'm willing to trust his level of understanding is infinitely ahead of mine and my opinion takes a backseat to him choices.

Unless he chooses Alonso.

He’s got all the hallmarks of a classic Chelsea manager

We’re definitely going to win some trophies under him

If he stays long enough...hope he does from what we've seen....selecting Alonso not withstanding

this is fair...we've not seen anything negative yet...hopefully it doesn't start with Everton

It's too soon to evaluate anyway. Next season is for that. But he is a man with a plan that much is for sure.

BTW... How good is Mount gonna be in about 3 years from now? The guy is just getting better and better. Chelsea and England captain incoming.

Yeah Tuchel has done very well so far, but every manager does well at the beginning. Been down this road too many times.

Right now we’re still creating very few chances per game and relying on a strong defence to hold on to narrow leads. I blame the poor decision making and poorly hit passes of attackers for that more than TT. But at some point he’ll have to be more expansive, perhaps with a formation that uses one less defender.

Next season will be the real test for him.

Last season I thought Mount was good for his age but he didn’t really wow me as more than a good squad player.

But this season he’s really stepped up and proven he’s the real deal. Interestingly at one point it looked like playing as an 8 was what he needed to really shine. But he’s thriving in this more attacking position anyway. If he can improve his killer passing in the final third (close to what you’d expect from someone like Silva or Mata or Ozil) then he’ll be the complete package.

Not saying he needs to be as good as those players in terms of vision, but it’s probably the main/only weakness in his game I can think of. He’s the focal point of our attacks, though that kind of skill set is more what you’d expect from Ziyech or Havertz.

Like yesterday it looked like he had a chance to play in Werner but put it wide to Chilwell instead. Hoping he can do better at spotting runs in behind and playing those through balls.

Well he’s gonna need to start at some point.

Can’t keep giving these token sub appearances right at the end on the basis that he’s been injured, so it would be too risky to include him in the team.

Games come thick and fast so we need as many options as possible. The way Pulisic and Ziyech are playing, there’s definitely a spot up for grabs. Think him and Werner could work well together.
