These feckers can get in the bin too. Offering a genuine fee for some lesser known striker but giving us their usual pauper act when negotiating for Ziyech
Hmm.
Might be something in our interest of Benjamin Pavard. Sky Germany have confirmed our interest apparently..., hasn't come on our side yet from Sky officialy, but German Sky were pretty good over the Havertz transfer.
See if anything happens.
Charles de Ketelaere, some player he will be. We were interested before the sanctions apparently. I may be very very wrong, but give it a few seasons I think he'll have a similar impact to De Bruyne.
Apparently Leeds have set Barca a deadline to match our offer. Remains to be seen if it’s true but it makes sense, they won’t want it dragging out all summer.
Just hope we leave the bid in and force the slimy pr’cks to match it while we work on other signings. No point making it easier for them to sign him

Bayern are sort of hampered by their league
But its chickens coming home to roost for the Spanish clubs operating like morons for the last 10 years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you mean Barcelona ?
Madrid are in a good state financially and have a net spend on players during the past 10 years that is less than clubs like Everton
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not just Barca, Leti too. Just less reported on that they are also fked
la liga sets the budgets for the clubs before the start of every season depending on their financials
the finances of la liga clubs are alot more controlled than in most other European leagues
Everton are not exactly a good choice for pointing at spending approach btw
Liverpool had half their net spend since 2016

it did work
because they had to reduce their expenditure in terms of wages and transfer outgoings massively at the start of last season
without the controls la liga put on them, it would have been much worse
They were saved by a 500m loan from America
And now they are selling the family silver to stay operational
Good governance is preventing them long before they get to this stage
they're weren't saved by selling 10% of their TV rights to a Yank company
That deal is to give them a big increase in revenues (short term), so they can compete with R Madrid quickly
Laporta cannot wait to rebuild slowly, especially as Madrid did a league/CL double last season. He feels they have to spend $$ on new players now to compete with Madrid
The jealously and one up manship they feel towards Real Madrid is at the very core of that football club and what motivates their every decision
They'll also be redeveloping the Nou Camp soon, putting a roof on it etc
Again, Madrid are doing their stadium up, Farza have to keep up
Imagine trying to put a roof on the Nou Camp, the facking size of that stadium
Will cost them stupid money
If Boris survives this then he’s invincible
Why does a football stadium in a city like Barcelona even need a roof

No they were saved from bankruptcy in 2021 by a 500m loan from Goldman Sachs
Which was obtained to pay back other loans
Its an absolute mess and Laporta is making every possible play he can to make it potentially worse
Feel like they could have just enjoyed a couple seasons of getting top 4, then go back to being a powerhouse again once the financial situation sorta itself out
As i said earlier my prediction is Barca will be under private ownership within the next decade
La Liga cant save them from themselves
