- on this point I do but he takes it to extremes. Still fecked off about our CB situation. If it wasn't for the Koulibaly purchase I'd want our entire board and scouting team sacked. We've lost 4 CBs in the last year and a half. And are now looking to overpay by £40m on a player who isn't an elite talent (a top talent yes but not WC).

We have no idea who is staying or who is going as far as the board/scouts. It’s still early days and there will likely be a lot of shuffle in the coming years. People are too impatient right now. If we hadn’t been bought out I’d understand but things need time.

I have no issue spending silly money on Fofana in isolation but the context is we let Guehi and Tomori while failing to secure Rudiger and AC on long term deals which is maddening.

We shouldnt be needing to rebuild defence. We should be looking to finalise a midfield and attack to win a league.
