Yeah, well even as Hiddink said he's been advising Roman while at Turkey because the role dosen't come into conflict with his job.

We'll probably sign him officialy as Director once Turkey fail to qualify, or after they've getting as far as they can.

Until then he's pretty much our director, just dosen't have the official title.

If we don't sign an attacking mid during the summer then i think McEachran and Piazon will have pretty big parts to play.

I just hope Piazon can get a work permit from his Italian background,otherwise he'll be loaned out to get it.

Apparantly our targets are Neymar/Lukaku/De Bruyne/Van Der Wiel/Back up goalkeeper

And apparantly VDW is expected to sign for about 9M.

Id really like that.

I honestly don't see us up there challenging for the title next season with the amount of change we're expecting. So if we can get our youngin's some quality time and experience id be very happy.

Im actually not that worried anymore about missing out on some targets. Might be a blessing in disguise. Only those signings that aren't COMPLETELY necessary.

Im ok with that. After the season we just had ill be happy with only effort.

Think that's why Van Basten is probably favourite.

He hasn't won anything as a manager yet, but he takes no big ego's and deals with them, as he did with Holland with Davids and Kluivert etc.

Also gives youth a good chance, like i said he did with the World Cup in 06, i think he got rid of 4-5 established first team players, and replaced them with youngsters who i don't think were older than 24 at the time.

If we were looking to blood the youth then Carlo was the right man for the job. But it seems like Roman wants instant sucess, so I see us signing some big players.

What I would like Chelsea to do is sign 2 experienced players and 2 or 3 kids that have huge potential.

How many youngsters did he blood at A.C? lol He let players like Gourcuff etc go. I think at one point i read that A.C had about 11 youngsters out on loan. Not one made an appearance for the first team.

If these are our targets then i don't think Roman is going for the instant success. With the oldest being 24 anyway.

If he wanted that he could sign 4-5 26-28 year olds and still get quite a bit out of them.

Roman wants trophies and thats the reason he sacked Carlo because he won nothing. Roman will not wait for a manager to build a team, he want instant success. Wont be suprised if we spend over 100m this summer as the fair play rules will come in next season and once the rules are active we wont be spending more than 20m.

Dann is a quality cb and wheather he ends up at United, Arsenal or Liverpool he will be a key figure of that teams future success.

I can't see us getting him unless we sell Alex
