I've heard that Leiva la vida Lucas is a dirty rotten scoundrel.

In his first official interveiw as Athletico 7 years fc, a delighted King Luis Suarez declared all out war on the other managers of League B. in a heavy state of drunkenness and a slight state of undress he claimed "we'll have the lot of em" before slipping in to sambuca induced coma!

Exciting times ahead in league B!!!!!!!!

1. My team is pretty cack, everyone stole the best players from me, even my players know that I just settled for what was left.

2. I have a few players that I'm keeping an eye on, I'm not going to tell you who though you nosy bástard

3. They are all equally better than me

4. Low

5. Well, seeing as my opponent doesn't have a team yet I think we should do pretty well.

In Mourinho Voice:

1.Unfortunately, I didn't get all the players I wanted, errrrrr, these things happen But maybe It was a blessing in disguise, I have ended up with a better budget and also the team itself look more fluent on paper.

2. Yes I missed out on Hazard and Neymar, But it's no big deal as I replaced them with M'Vila and Remi. Obvously, errr, I would have been estatic with the two I mentioned, but you can't have everything in life. However, I do predict big things for these guys.

3. Yes, I certainly feel that Sir Eric's team has a chance to win the whole league but I also would't underestimate Pride Of The North's well assembled First 11.

4. I feel we have a great chance to lift the league trophy, let alone qualify. Qualifying is a must, but, errrr, we'll try to go one step further and win the whole thing

5. I think i the first one or two games, I will maybe try out some of the Youngsters like El Shaarawy, but on the other hand, I need My team to start gellling with each other from the off so I will make a late decision on that. RYN are a good team, It will be a good way to start off this round of freindlies, I think we have what it take to, errrr, you know, errr, beat them.

1. So how do you think did with your team selection and did you get all you wanted from the draft?

I think if you compare my picks to that of some of the other guys i did pretty well. Although i didn't get everyone i wanted i am happy with my team and my front line will be deadly.

2. Did you miss out on a particular player you might be interested in again in the future?

We were interested in Lavezzi but you can't win everytime.

3. Does any team in the league stand out as the best to you?

It is to early to say at the moment, ask me again once the preseason is finished.

4. How do you rate your chances for playoff qualification this season?

I think with the squad i have built we have a great chance, i know what it takes to win and the other managers are to busy squabbling between them.

5. Pre-season fixtures have been drawn - any ideas on how your squad will line up? How do you fancy your chances against the team you'll be playing and their manager?

I haven't looked at the fixture list i concentrate on this team and this team only.

1) Well, I had to chance my team around 4 times after finding out players were unavailable although they were not on the unavailable thread... However, I'm happy with my team now.

2) Martin Kelly - Both Anfield RAP and i were both interested but eventually I decided because RAP's team is so poor I should let him have him out of charity. Throughout the discussions Martin was professional and agreed that he would be a stand out performer for RAP instead of the worst player for me.

3) Yes, I believe God96's team is the best....

4) I do not wish to comment.

5)I beleive it will be tough but with the right team we can pull it off

1. We only missed out on one player in the draft, I think we got very lucky. We've got a fantastic midfield in Alonso and Mascherano and a lethal attack force in David Villa and Lavezzi.

2. We did miss out on Carles Puyol but wish him well in his career with Haven't a Kalou. I've got my eyes on a couple of players I'd like to bring in some time in the future but I think we've got a great bunch of lads here.

3. There are some great squads out there but I think we've got a great chance, Anfield RAP has a good team to manage as does LastChance but the league season will take shape over time and we'll see how we all do.

4. If we can get this team to gel then I think we've got a great chance of making the playoffs. We'll try some players in the preseason friendlies and see how well they perform but all managers have a great starting point and it'll be interesting to see how we do.

5. Athletico 7 Years have a good squad assembled and a good manager, we'll be quite experimental in our line up to keep the managers guessing for our first league game of the season and the result isn't the most important thing.

1. So how do you think did with your team selection and did you get all you wanted from the draft?

I didn't get everyone that I wanted from the draft, obviously you have to give and take. Some certainly took more than others but that's the nature of the game, I got some truly world class players in silva and Gotze and then I got Danny Simpson!

2. Did you miss out on a particular player you might be interested in again in the future?

I really wanted Paul Scholes and did actually get him in the draft but that theiveing swine Tippy stole him away! I would sign the little ginger back stabber, EVER!!!!

3. Does any team in the league stand out as the best to you?

I don't think so, nobody's played yet and whilst there are some good players in everyone's team, there is no threat posed by any fellow manager!

4. How do you rate your chances for playoff qualification this season?

If we win our league we qualify, that's the target! That and inflicting some pain!!!

5. Pre-season fixtures have been drawn - any ideas on how your squad will line up? How do you fancy your chances against the team you'll be playing and their manager?

I'm not concerning myself with that halfwit of a manger to be honest!!!

Now I must dash, Harry Redknapp has a brown envolope for me!!!!

1. So how do you think did with your team selection and did you get all you wanted from the draft?

Since I got my entire first 11 in the original draft I am very content. My 2 assistants were less than happy however - Roy Hodgson said we need more 'Poulsenesque' midfielders and Mick McCarthy sees the lack of 'long ball merchants' as going against everything that is modern football.

2. Did you miss out on a particular player you might be interested in again in the future?

The only player who I think may give us that something extra would be Igor Biscan but his club will be looking 'silly money' and we are not prepared to break our wage structure to accomodate him.

3. Does any team in the league stand out as the best to you?

I think it's all to play for and while there are no 'stand out' teams there are a several very, very average ones

4. How do you rate your chances for playoff qualification this season?

We are quietly confident and time will tell.

5. Pre-season fixtures have been drawn - any ideas on how your squad will line up? How do you fancy your chances against the team you'll be playing and their manager?

As I have said on many occassions we are still a 'work in progress.' We will just come in each day and work to the best of our ability and see where we end up at the end of the season. Dale Winton is our club masseur so I have enough to bloody worry about without even thinking about these 'fly by night' managers and their 2 a penny teams

1. We have a good squad, which I think is essential. In addition, Javier Pastore, Fernando Llorente and Hugo Llloris are all quality players. We might not have stand out big names, but quality players nevertheless.

2. Losing Bastian Schweinsteiger was a big blow, and he is Definately someone I still want to bring in. I was initially dissappointed to miss out on Neven Subotic, but his replacement, David Luiz will bring more to our team.

3. Pride of the North probably has the best first XI, but injuries could hit his side hard. Wilshere has built a good squad, and I'll be pestering him for Georgio Chiellini.

4. I expect nothing less than an unbeaten record, which should see us involved.

5. This is a good time to gel, and we will be looking to send out a message - however we may give Moritz Leitner a run out

1. So how do you think did with your team selection and did you get all you wanted from the draft?

I wasn't very lucky with my initial selection, absolutely gutted to miss out on Mesut Ozil.

2. Did you miss out on a particular player you might be interested in again in the future?

Mesut Ozil, I would definitely be interested in him in the future, also Fernando Llorente, they are quality players and i will be keeping tabs on them for the future.

3. Does any team in the league stand out as the best to you?

I have no interest in any team apart from Outer Milan.

4. How do you rate your chances for playoff qualification this season?

Never mind play-off qualification, we can win this league!

5. Pre-season fixtures have been drawn - any ideas on how your squad will line up? How do you fancy your chances against the team you'll be playing and their manager?

We will look to play attacking football and really take the game to them. As for the other team, it doesn't matter who we face, I have a strong squad here, I am very happy.

1. So how do you think did with your team selection and did you get all you wanted from the draft?

Im very happy with my side and feel we have one of the best teams in the league. I did want some players who i missed out obviously but not one manager will tell you they got everything they asked for

2. Did you miss out on a particular player you might be interested in again in the future?

Cavani. I would have liked him but Lewandowski is also good.

3. Does any team in the league stand out as the best to you?

Apart from mine. Pride of the Norths and Puntings

4. How do you rate your chances for playoff qualification this season?

High but everyone will say this cause we believe in our teams

5. Pre-season fixtures have been drawn - any ideas on how your squad will line up? How do you fancy your chances against the team you'll be playing and their manager?

Well ill always fancy our chances but my team have to believe that and hopefully they will. Every manager is good in this league so we can never underestimate their teams

1. First of all, what do you make of the big managerial appointment of the week? How well do you think he will compete? Of course I'm asking about Welshy of Fishguard Wanderers...

I used to go to Fishguard on the way to Ireland ...
That's all i have i'm afriad

2. You've just submitted your first tactics, how are you feeling about the game ahead?

I feel good thank you.

3. Who have you decided to name as captain for the fixture and why?

Riise, because he knows how to take a nine iron and come out smiling.

4. Any particular player in the opposing team that you feel could be the most dangerous?

They are a good team. But individual players don't win games.

5. How do you rate the opposing manager and his tactics?

He is a good guy, young and fiesty

posted on 3/5/12

1. Well, I play his team first up and I think we're going to paste them. I just can't see why they appointed him

2. I'm feeling confident we can win to get our season going

3. Lucio has bags of experience and will keep the team on course from the heart of our defence

4. Kompany looks like he could break my spine

5. He's bobbins and although his tactics might be better than mine I still think he smells funny

1. First of all, what do you make of the big managerial appointment of the week? How well do you think he will compete? Of course I'm asking about Welshy of Fishguard Wanderers...

He'll be sacked before the season is out. Where do you find these people from?

2. You've just submitted your first tactics, how are you feeling about the game ahead?

I'm confident in my team, but not confident that anyone else agrees with that statement.

Zaha and Hammill will do a lot more damage down the wings than perhaps many will think - they are young and relatively experianced but are incredibly talented and quick.

3. Who have you decided to name as captain for the fixture and why?

Leon Britton - the untalked about midfield engine who has played in all 4 English Divisions.

4. Any particular player in the opposing team that you feel could be the most dangerous?

No one inparticular, all of the teams have dangerous players.

5. How do you rate the opposing manager and his tactics?

It certainly looks like he knows what he's talking about. But I think he's maybe taking the 3 points for granted Football can spring surprises.

1. First of all, what do you make of the big managerial appointment of the week? How well do you think he will compete? Of course I'm asking about Welshy of Fishguard Wanderers...

Well, I don't know too much about him. He tried, and failed, to steal a couple of my players so obviously has an eye for talent. I think his late arrival will benefit his results greatly as he hasn't had much of a chance to pi$$ other managers off.

2. You've just submitted your first tactics, how are you feeling about the game ahead?

I'm feeling terrible. Due to the fact this is my first ever mangerial job I didn't know how to write up the tactics. I know Haven't a Kalou's fans once got Roy Hodgson kicked out the job pretty fast so I'll have to get results instantly.

3. Who have you decided to name as captain for the fixture and why?
Carlos Puyol, he was captain of the greatest team in the world. As soon as he was sold to me Barca were knocked out the champions league because they had no natural leader.

4. Any particular player in the opposing team that you feel could be the most dangerous?

Not really. He hasn't got any world-class players to stand out individually but together as a unit I don't know

5. How do you rate the opposing manager and his tactics?
I think he's alright, quite experienced but has always, in my eyes, been a mid-table club. It's a nice style of play they don't really have a plan B. It'll cost them greatly I believe.

Press Conference Over!

1. I think he's managed to build a pretty good team and I understand he is wishing to improve that but he seems to have a good tactical nous and I think he will do well.

2. Obviously as it's a friendly there are no points up for grabs and we've chosen to give Ronaldinho a chance to show what he can do. I think we will do well to be honest as we've got a solid midfield and it should pay dividends.

3. Xabi Alonso has been named as my permanent captain with vice captains selected in Raul Albiol and Clarence Seedorf. Xabi is a great leader and has the experience to guide us to greatness.

4. Hulk, Goetze and Silva are all fantastic players and if they link up well they our defenders will have a real job on their hands.

5. Highly, as with all managers in this division it'll be a huge challenge but one that we can overcome I'm sure.

Thanks.
