do chelsea buy for the sake of buying?

Do Arsenal buy?

I wouldn't mind him, but for the right price - nothing more than 35 million. And his wages are a problem as well. But he would add that piece of flair and magic to the wing - him and Sturridge would wreck havoc on the best of defences. I wonder how much Juve supposedly bidded.

Never been the guy's biggest fan, imo he's inconsistent and constantly flatters to deceive oon the biggest stage

For the sum touted we can and should be aiming higher. Neymar deal is looking very unlikely though

I am not sure where he would fit in if we did. I have never seen him play on the wing and he will not get a chance in ST when we have 50million Torres.

He looks good in the supporting striker role, but that doesn't really fit into our formation.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

You obviously haven't seen him play that much because he can play anywhere in a front 3 of a 4-3-3 formation or 4-4-2 formation.

He is VERSATILE just what we need.

Formation? what formation is that, do you know something none of the rest of us do, or are you assuming that we will play the same way as before, I for one hope not. We have a boss who sets his sides up to play exciting attacking football and with Robbie as a coach only augers well for the future.
Aguero is the perfect match for both Torres and Sturridge.

You admitted to only watching him a couple of times before, watch him over a full season or at least half a season then you will see he is not inconsistent, just check out his goalscoring record as proof.PROVEN STRIKER unlike Neymar.
He has scored so many goals against the likes of Madrid and Barca which is excellent considering they are the 2 best clubs in the league.
Neymar is nowhere near his level.

We are not going to get him, his wages are too high.

Where's your master Dispeller? Has he allowed to come on our board?

Come let's be honest here, since when have wages ever been a problem?
Torres 185k a week springs to mind + the other players we have who are on 100k a week and we are willing to triple Modric's wages from 50k to 150k a week.

We put in a bid of £40mil willing for Aguero in January, unfortunately It got rejected which is strange considering Atletico are seemingly willing to accept less than that now.
We need to get in a bid fast,we can't let him go to Juve who are not even playing the champions league next season.
Wasted talent if he goes there.

Wasn't it 40 for both Godin and Aguero?

posted on 6/7/11

Aguero's wages could get over 200.000 a week in Britain

posted on 6/7/11

It was a £52 mil bid for both.

40 for Aguero,
12 for Godin
