Personally I don’t worry so much about how we do against our closest neighbours so I wouldn’t have these performances as 3 of my high points. Indeed, we’d be a pretty unambitious club if we weren’t aiming to finish above Derby, Forest and Coventry.
One of my highlights would be the signings of Marshall and Drinkwater. They are two young players who will probably be an important part of our future.
Another would be the owners and the investment they are putting in. Even though it didn’t work out I’m still grateful for their continued commitment. Without it we could be looking at the wrong end of the table.
I think if Marshall had been here at the start of the season hed have won player of the season... fantastic signing by Pearson.
As for drinky, I'm still unsure. Loses the ball far too much for my liking.
