I've Saw Angel Heart, aye it was kinda pash but De Niro was class De niro hasn't made a good film in years .In the 70's and 80's he was the man,so many good films. He should've won more oscars than he did imo.Obviousy in the 90's he made great films as well,Casino,Goodfellas,Heat,Jackie Brown etc.
Leaving Las Vegas is immense.
Tim... guy who wrote it, O'Brien (it is semi-autobiographical), popped himself a couple of weeks into film's production. Sad.... but hey, I love movie trivia.
I started watching leaving las vegas but I thought it was boring. Con Air thats a classic! Put the bunny back in the box
Didn't know that ish,very sad.
Two other Nic cage films he is excellent in,Matchstick Men and Adaptation.Just shows when he is given a good script he can actually act.
Tim... DeNiro started making g@sh film to pay for Tribeca... which I can understand... although... even when he is bad he is better than most. Although.. I have to say... I lost some respect for him when he agreed to work with Stallone, who is probably.. if not definitely... the worst actor ever to come out of America... or ANY country for that matter. FFS... I'd rather watch Danny Dyer than Stallone.
I watched Cinderella Man the other day. Russell Crowe as depression-era boxer James J Braddock.
Brilliant film
I prefer crime dramas.
Midsomer Murders, frost etc
Natural Born Killers and Reservoir Dogs are another couple I'll watch, even thigh I've seen both a tonne of times.
Tend to watch the original star wars when I'm super rough too. Comfort watching
BFB
Wouldn't go on holiday to Midsomer, would ye?
I can't imagine you'd get travel insurance for holidaying there
Bhoy from Brum, if it's crime dramas you're after , George Regan n Jack Carter take some beating, and dish out even worse ones.
