BoltonBlue - exactly, he's played every minute of every game since City beat West Brom, covering huge distances in each game. I also think Richards will contain Ba more effectively x

Don't get me wrong I love seeing Micah surge forward, think if Micah plays then it has to be De Jong and Barry holding at the back which is my preference anyway, if Bobby insists on Yaya and Barry then we should stick with Zabba as I still think he is better defensively.

If Richards plays I think he'll pick up a booking early on and that will either effect his game or lead to a red.

"Not saying that he couldn't. IMHO, Richards would be more potent."

Richards is quicker point to point, granted. But he's been picking up a lot of niggling injuries and I don't think he's fit enough to start. I'd stick with Zab, we're more likely to get a full game out of him and we've been doing fine with him back there.

Richards /Zab

Believe it will depend totally on the Silva/Nasri issue tbh. If Mancini plays both then he wont need the attacking options on both wingbacks. If Silva is rested he might be tempted to play Richards to add the width and De Jong to police in front of the defence.

So we're basically in agreement then?

If Richards is not fit then yes.
