Selling Ibrox and Murray Park?
Where did you hear this?
Leasing back or not, it's a stupid idea and should nevere ven be entertained...

I suspect this is speculation at best...

Good post fella! We,ve been down this road before mate, mind the takeover banter last year. Dont forget this is the "prefared" bidder and not the Exclusive bidder, theres still a chance the Blue knights could equal or better Mr Millers bid,I dont even think he,s sent the £500k yet to secure the keys?..or has he?

All sound good so far and Im willing to give the guy a chance, only time will tell tho. Im just that we bit happier today, its been a draining few months of late.

I suspect he will get a bumpy ride from the FF brigade. They don't do austerity. Also when the current club gets liquidated he'll need to ride the storm. There's a few twists and turns in this saga still to come.

Irvine, of course.

To quote Sir Winston:

"This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning"

He will struggle to win over the fans as it is without selling Ibrox.

Maybe naming rights, but I doubt he'll sell the stadium.

As for Murray Park, unless a gym or sports club buys it then it's worthless as the land can't be used for housing or business or anything else- its only there on the condition of its current use.

Agree pal

but think this guy wants it to work and build Rangers back up again but will take time, I see him, like a fergus for us, if the club is run right for the next couple of years, could start to make money and attract a bidder, I think Miller is not in it for the very long haul but want s to build the club up again.

Anyway this is just my opinion

Jinky,

What's best for Scotland and scottish football is that they die! They deserve nothing else! They are a shame and a stain on the rest of us!

With any luck it might take the rest of the Establishment with it to die too! Wishful thinking I know, but in extending this dream a little further, maybe a new establishment team might arise but without the sectarian, racist, fascist, hateful baggage it had before - be nice wouldn't it! A club quite separate from the lodge, without favour from the MSM, government, courts, SFA, SPL, who could stand on their own two feet, and with whom we could have a proper football rivalry with. You know, somebody who might play in blue white and red and yet might not be anti-catholic/Irish to its core, and be more welcoming and tolerant.

Bout as much chance of that at as them winning the Champions League next year eh! Like I said, best if they die anyway, cos whatever evolves can surely be no worse than what died before it!

sbcfc - you need to relax.

So much hatred is bad for you.

DC,

I try to convince myself that there's some good amongst you, but the fact is you're all guilty by association! Your badge, your name, your songs, everything about stinks, and has done for many, many years. Time you died and came back to the rest of us a better club!

Why do I want Rangers to die, thats just silly FFS our game is not blessed as one of the best, but old firm games attract a world wide audiance, now take Rangers out of scottish football and bottom line yes there is a league but come on its would be dull

same goes for Celtic, the old firm help keep the smaller clubs going like it or not, now don't get me wrong Rangers should be punnished and alot of decent bears on here have said that, but wanted them to die FFS get a grip.

for all the derby I have been to over my time the old firm is the one I love and nothing beats it, as long as I live I hope these matches are always arround

sb - so you tar everyone in life according to the actions of some.

I have never not paid my taxes, but in your mind I am guilty.
I have never been sectarian (and indeed as much posts on here have shown, cannot be bothered with any of the BS), but in your mind I am guilty.

I just want to watch my team play football.

That's it.

Jinky... I like your posts... because you seem like a fairly honest fella and, to a greater extent, less bitter and twisted than yer peers. We're probably about ages with each other, and have been following our teams the same length of time. But.... please... and i say this with the greatest respect... get a fecking spell-checker FFS. It's doing my head in. Honest.

DC,

Ever done the bouncy, sang the Sash, Derry's Walls, NPOR, Up to yer knees, BJK, TFS or others of a similar nature? What never? Even if you haven't, you're still guilty by assocation to what is a truly rancid football club! And if you have, well then you're no innocent are you.

sbcfc - oh so the bouncy is sectarian. Oh dear.

Guess I cannot sing the Hokey Cokey either?

And no, I have not sung any of the other stuff, but I am still guilty of it?

Were you off the day they handed out common sense?

I would say most of the bears on here a decent guys, chill out thinking everyone is bitter.......have a laugh and banter with the lads but leave the bile for another site

DC,

Funny how this tiny wee minority at Ibrox always seems to belt out its best repetoire like it was the majority of 50,000 belting it out - some lungs that wee majority has got!

I was rather under the impression that many enjoyed doing the bouncy as something more than just a wee bit of exercise!

Do you tell yer pals round a bout you to give it a rest when they belt out the first line or two of the truly vile sectarian songs....no, thought not, because you in your very small minority might get a belting from your knuckle-dragging lodge loving pals. Do you still go back the following week? Guilty by association!

Jinky,

regarding your OP, Miller is going to liquidate Rangers F.C.

Not good news to the berz that I know.

Also, cash should not come before integrity. You let a new team in for a few baubles, (especially one that has p!ssed all over the game and the taxpayer) you diminish the value of the prizes on offer.
