Camus - I have championed this for ages! I was flabbergasted about the march to Hampden when the culprits are SDM and Whyte! SDM built a deck of cards a bit like a property empire that got floored by the collapse of the economy! However it was obvious when you "sell" carparks to another part of your own company then lease it back whilst remortgaging it and lending the mortgage to Rangers to finance some magnificent players!

Can Scottish footbal exist without the OF of course it can, we can all become East Stirling, where has that poster gone?, and pay £10/week plus expenses! Scottish football is littered with teams who tried to break the OF (Dundee,Livingston,Gretna,Hearts)

I just dont get the lack of realism from Celtic fans, why the feck would you buy a season ticket when attendances will drop to 40K max? The knock on effect on programme sales,pie sales etc etc is a top players salary for a season! Then when attendances drop so does the SKY interest so does the sponsorship so does the corporate and so it continues! Sorry if basic economics doesnt float your boat but you WILL see it like it or not!

I said a while ago that we will attract a poorer quality of signing because Lawell might decide that the SPL might not take a great deal of winning. However Lawell wants a clear run at a couple of CL groups and he knows he'll need quality to do that. When he said we don't need to rely on any other club he obviously meant Rangers so I think he has been planning for this eventuality. As a Celtic fan I have to trust him.
