I love peter kenyon. He was such a positive guy to have around the club
Devonshire city are 197m in the red.
BTW those losses add up to £420m from 2005 - 2009. I think somewhere in that Kenyon refers to Roman as being a "good business man"
------------------------------------------------------
Considering the amount he has spent on Chelsea and the fact that he has spent more on tachts and planes, had a divorce and we are in a recession yet he is richer than when he bought the club, I think most would agree.
I though Kenyon was a Mr'C',

And teams like Swansea, Wigan, Blackpool have and are doing it now.

Not even close, Ipswich won the Division 1 title, Wimbledon contested in the top division for a good number of years and were a team to be feared.
Blackpool were relegated immediately, Wigan have had some good results but still struggle to compete, Swansea have had a good season, next year will be the real test. Similarily with Norwich and the teams coming up.
Brummie kenyon's a glass half full kinda guy. Never did he once give up on us becoming self sufficient
Where are they now thoug Greavesie, besides may not be close enough for you but Ipswich didn;t do it without buying a player or 2 nor did Luton. Wimbledon, well they are a one off.
Greavsie, Chelsea also won Div 1 title.
BTW waht happened to Ipswich 2 years after they won it? Relegated, hardly a regime. Up first year won it, 2 years later relegated. Close enough I say.
JFDI............................................Ipswich achieved it by good management & some home grown players plus a few bought in but nowhere near the % spends that Chelsea or City or United have had in recent years.
Ipswich are a small town club, so comparing them with Chelsea is slightly ridiculous.....................
So is trying to compare them to a shining example of lasting success..
Can we just accept that Yeovil are the biggest club in the world and move on?
So is trying to compare them to a shining example of lasting success..
Must have missed that somehow!!

Hardly surprising, you got upset when I compared them to clubs currently larger than them and upset when compared to a club that at the time they were better than but as you couldn't remember your own question, hardly surprising.
JFDI..............................Can you not recognise sarcasm??
And when did I get upset? Keep talking, you will eventually say something intelligent.
Anyone who told you to be yourself, couldn't have given you worse advice!
Just read your profile genius - had no idea you were so biter about us!

Sarcasm is very difficult to recognise by text alone, one day you may be wise enough to recognise this. I was hoping that you might actually back up your original rant by addressing some of the counter points I raised instead of jumping on to something new every time you were challenged.
As per usual you squirmed away till you had no where else to go but get personal, poor show but I expect nothing less from Spurs fans.
Brummieblue................................I have friends in Russia and some of the stories are horrifying. One friend lost his brother in the "Aluminium Wars", he was killed by gunmen attacking a mine. Guess who was on the winning side in the Aluminium Wars? Little clue..........................Initials are RA
Oh dear............................Poor JFDI not happy with Spours fans and me in particular. Well if you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen!!
No Grevsie, I know plenty of spurs fans that I have no issues with at all, there are many on here that I haven't even come accross because they are more interested in their own club than carrying a chip on their shoulder.
You fall into the category that can't debate. You dish out an opinion then get upset when challenged to the point you try and touc a nerve with personal insults.
I may not be as old as you but trust me, I have been around long enough to get woud up by someone at the end of a keyboard.

????????????????????????????
So you admit you are wound up if I get the gist of that comment?
Yu would be correct, if I got that wrong, I of course meant to say that I have been around long enough not to get wound up.
Though evidently not long enough to master a keyboard.
JFDI.......................For your information I do not have a chip on my shoulder re Chelsea or any other club in the PL. I used to be a big fan of Chelsea & the way they played football. In fact one of my best friends years ago was Steve Sherwood, former Chelsea goalkeeper.
I do however have an issue with where & how Abramovich got his wealth from................................which a lot of Chelsea fans seem to think doesn't matter.
