Not as you said it Johnsons!
Tway has already been given a heads up in this thread about the incorrect spelling of his name.
Thanks for the correction. Im curious about your pedantic insistence on getting the correct spelling of names of players (we all know who we are talking about anyway ..right?) .
So is that to highlight your own virtually impossible to duplicate identity? Lactose deprivation?
Devonshire
It is ridiculous, if the referee gets something wrong and it's corrected then tough **** for him, he should work harder to improve his performance
We don't stop counting goals that come from mistakes by players because it might undermine them, we shouldn't pander to and try and brush refs mistakes under the carpet
The idea of opposition citing incidents for investigation is an interesting one, though i could see it being misuse
I think there should be a group of officials independent of referees who watch games back and each game should be watched on at least two occasions by different officials. They should then have to submit a report similar to a referees to a panel that has clear and unbiased members and rules and then decisions can be made by them.
A challenge then Johnsons - find my quote were I've spelt his name 'Ivanov'itch' and I'll buy you a pint!
It's to highlight a fan who has seemingly never seen his player play but feels the need to give his time to berate a player from another team. Anyone can spell names wrong it happens all the time - if you'd wrote Toress, or Mereless for example that's easy to understand but Ivanov 'itch'!!!!

And I'll join in with a personal rendition of the song from the "Wizard of Oz"
'Dong dong the Vitch is dead, vitch ole vitch? da vicked vitch..... etc. May need more than 3 pints to get it on...
Brummie - I said 2 fans spelt the name how you pronounce it - you did by writing Ivanovich - and Tway did by writing Ivanovitch - both different spellings but both written how you would pronounce the name!
A challenge for you - go find where I said you wrote Ivanovitch!

Paisleys - names like Skrtel and Meireles and those with lots of vowels it's easy to mix up and spell them wrong - Hyypia - another one easy to get wrong but Ivanov'itch' - really !!! Haven't these 'fans' ever seen his shirt.

If you wern't refering to me you should make yourself clear!
Why am I even humouring the spelling police!!

Brummie - apologies if I didn't make myself clear
I couldn't care less about typos or spellings in general but when an op takes the time to write an article having a sly dig in a pot-kettle situation it makes him come across as not credible when he doesn't even bother to get the name right. Apologies to you Brummie for including you in 'spellgate', you seem pretty decent
Why thank you Johnsons, I'm sure your a good egg yourself!

Not bad at the snide digs yourself eh johnsonsbaby?
However the names are spelt the FACT still remains that Suarez committed a deliberate assault on the Chelsea player Ivanovic and then pretended it was an accident. Branislav deliberately refused his hand because he knew it all a performance for the benefit of the camera lens.
We can only hope that the FA will look into the incident and act accordingly . The video footage is there to be played and replayed. It clearly shows an intent to hurt. If the FA chooses to ignore this incident at the same time punishing other players for what looks like selective justice , then what can we say about credibility eh?
Go and read my post about the selective justice Tway and i expect to see your article about Essiens deliberate attempt to end andy carrolls career soon

First off, Ivanovic was rolling round on the floor all night like a big kid and shouldn't have been on the pitch after we try'd to cave Carroll's chest in. But if "like you seem to be hoping for" the FA charge Suarez, then they would surely have to look at the very dangerous 2 footed tackle by Essien?
Tway, replace the Y with a T in your name and that would be the most honest thing I have seen from you.
To think that Luis and / or LFC get preferential treatment from the FA is just laughable.
all players on both sides should be bound, hung, drawn, and quartered
and then be fed to Wayne Rooney's horse
and then shat onto a colony of starving lepers
who turn into zombies
and eat Ashley young and Gareth Bale for being the two worst divers in the league
I'm confused!
Who turns in to a zombie? The players who are hung drawn and quartered or the starving lepers?
the lepers of course
are you dim?
although horse poo zombies is a fine idea
I'm texting horror channel right now
Well in Summary!
Ivanovic on Carrol
Essien on Carrol
Shelvey on Ramieries
Suarez on Ivanovic
Shelvey on Malouda - benefit of the doubt!
Any advances on that!
