Stinks again, why just a 1 year deal

again I thought..........clubs weren't allowed to change their kits for at least 2 years due to pressure put on the fans to keep buying ?

I thought there was a 2 year deal too, but we've seen at least 1 kit a season (sometimes 2) for the last few years.

At least it looks good and Flamingoland aren't the sponsors!

you've been lashed

Perhaps it's the best deal on offer from the 'sponsor.'

Are 'sponsors' covered by League Rules?

lol can you imaginge having Flamingoland on our shirts then getting relegated......... oh my........
hypothetical I hope

Best for whom?

I am not normally negative but when Bates is arround my hairs curl, he makes me cringe, I fear for us.
His statement yesterday had me thinking he had a change of heart for at least 2 secs anyway

oooooooh lets see what 6th Aug brings aye.

Regardless whether it is a 1 year or a 10 year deal. I'm ordering mine on Tuesday next!

That's got to be the worst shirt ever made!

Hate collars, they always curl inwards or upwards (usually both sides at once) and make the you look scruffy.

If this is fashion i'm defo getting old cos how an open v neck and collar go together beats me. Well the good news is i've saved a hundred quid not having to get one for me and the boys. Thanks Leeds.

FFS lads - grow up! Seriously, do you all get up in the morning and wonder what you are going to moan about today. This is your football club you are talking about. Ok, the jersey isnt our best jersey but either way, it is a leeds jersey and we should get it.

I couldnt care less if we had a red away jersey, Id still get it out of the love I have for my team.

I would have thought of all fans around the world, we were one of the most loyal followers...obviously not!

What because you do not buy a shirt you do not like? can not wait to see the away shirt now.

harrington, you're getting upset because the shirt isn't to some people's taste?

No Jonty not getting upset at all. Its not to my taste either mate but I merely stating the point that it is a football jersey and not a Armani suit. You wear it to match days like everyone else. You arent going to look odd or out of place when wearing it!

i like it

that is all!

How is not liking a kit design moaning? When i spend my hard earned cash its on something i like, just because its my beloved clubs kit does make it a compulsory purchase. I will stick to wearing what i already own until another design i like is made.
Oh and my shirts are not just for matchdays they are worn with pride home and abroad as leisure wear.

harrington, not sure what you think people are moening about.

I buy most kits and for my kids, didn't buy last years as I didn't like it but will buy this years as I like this one.

Just hope the quality improves, I bought blue kit last year and netflights came off after 1 wash.

thombob i was speaking to the few that do not draw any positives of Leeds United. There are a certain few that come on here and just moan about the manager doing brutal, horrid finances, blah blah blah. I wasnt speaking solely about the shirt.
To me it is a compulsory purchase because as i said, it could be red and i would still purchase it.

wash it inside out on a 40 degree wash Jonty. That is what the mother told me to do

posted on 7/7/11

I will buy it when I next go to Elland Road. I wouldn't say it's the best kit we have ever had but it is our home kit at the end of the day. I love Leeds so I will buy the kit, simple.

No Jonty, he's hacked off because MeMe, in common with one or two others on here posts nothing but gripes groans and moans which gets very tedious.

my apologies your royal highness. I'll be sure to instruct the peasants on the above washing instructions.

One would not want to spoil such a delicate garment.
